The same guy who told Chris Matthews that pregnant women should go to “illegal places”?

In an interview to show he’s prolife, instead of saying anything about the sanctity of life, or how women should choose life.

Nope.

They should go to illegal places.

Sure why would I care?.Howevet,God willing there won’t be a Dem
president any time soon,if ever!
The differences between the two conventions and the parties as a whole is so vividly apparent,The Dems have nothing to offer this country, period!MAGA🇺🇸

Why not cite something he said to Sam Donaldson in 1988 while you are at it?

Or we can judge him by his actions these last four years, and what he said JUST LAST NIGHT.

“Joe Biden claims he has empathy for the vulnerable, yet the party he leads supports the extreme late-term abortion of defenseless babies, right up until the moment of birth. Democrat leaders talk about moral decency, but they have no problem with stopping a baby’s beating heart in the ninth month of pregnancy. Democrat politicians refuse to protect innocent life, and then they lecture us about morality and saving America’s soul. Tonight, we proudly declare that all children, born and unborn, have a God-given right to life.”

Sister Byrne seems to believe in his pro-life cred…

That’s preferable to what the Dems have become ,unless they can get their act together and ,stop capitulating to the far left that’s taken over the party, who the heck would want to support them.? Considering the younger members of Congress appear to be running roughshod over NP et all,I believe this is the future of the Dems platform.

So when the next Democratic President does that, you’ll be fine with it too?

No place else to hold a Republican convention event?
I don’t recall any Republican I know on here or in person complaining about the Hatch Act violations of the Democrats, but maybe I weird that way.

Let’s face it - it is a losers argument. Standing on legal principle when trying to win hearts and minds is like trying to get your opponent disqualified for signing an incorrect scorecard at the Masters.

Haaa,Gotta love the way Trump tweaks the left. They simply don’t get his sarcasm ,sense of humor!

I think the past four years have shown that the majority of the electorate don’t know or care about the things that keep the American Experiment going, such as checks and balances and following conventions and traditions that, it turns out, have been voluntarily complied with by Presidents and other politicians up to this point.
Just the last four years???
Most Americans don’t know who their congressman or senator is. Most Americans can’t name any of the SCOTUS judges.
Most of the electorate don’t understand the Electoral College.

And as can be seen by the words of many of the “peaceful protesters,” there are many of the electorate who want this experiment to fail.

I don’t see the younger Congresspeople wielding inordinate power.

However, I do see that the Republicans have totally capitulated to the Trumpists. The Republicans don’t even have a platform - it’s just whatever Trump says.

So, be careful when you cast aspersions on one side that it doesn’t get redirected at your own situation.

So, we are totally against other religions codifying their beliefs into US law. But we think it’s okay for us because we are right .
Which bring us to 2 core ideals and the concept of separation of church and state or more aptly separation of religion and state.

Keep your religion out of my politics.
Keep your politics out of my religion.
The tricky thing is that there are a lot of issues that are addressed by both religion and politics. My religion says that I shouldn’t murder anyone. Does that mean if my country has laws against murder, that’s letting my (and lots of other people’s) religion into politics?
How are lawmakers supposed to deal with issues that overlap religion and politics?

Well he actually said those those thing. Read the article. It really is disturbing.

And from another thread and article:

Great Balls of Ire at the RNC World News
(Please Note: This uploaded content is no longer available.)

Quite disturbing coming from the Evangelical point of view.

Uhhh, the Republicans don’t have a platform?Sure they do,Trump just spent 70 minutes last night outlining it.Guess you missed that!
The Dems “ platform” is complete government takeover of our personal freedoms.
As a poster stated earlier this week, why even bother trying to have a dialogue here,it’s fruitless…

Moving the embassy was such a stupid move, in my opinion.
I would not call it stupid. Having a evangelical background, I find it a SCARY move.

During my debating days, I rejected invitations to debate on eschatological issues. That is one area the Catholic Church has given a poor defense of. And don’t suggest or quote Scott Hahn’s book. I’ve read it. And it only touches the surface of the book of Revelations. I was highly disappointed by the time I got to the end of it.

The impeachment was 100% political retaliation for Trump winning the election.
That’s why the House refused to impeach him? Sorry, he merited impeachment. There’s a thing called ‘conflict of interest’ which Trump ignores.
The RNC had numerous Black Republicans/Trump supporters /conservatives- bucking the trend and refusing to stay on the Democrat plantation, in spite of Biden’s, “if you’re not for me, you’re not black.”
Numerous? I guess more than one is numerous but statistics would not give you even 20%. Its not a question of plantation. And, did anyone yet prove Biden’s statement wrong? There is a term for an oppressed person who takes on the value systems of the oppressor. The nicer variation is “Stockholm syndrome”.

The Catholic, Orthodox, Armenian, Armenian and Anglican bishops in Jerusalem were against the move.
