Obama started the practice.She had no business lying on a national stage re this issue.
 
Please remember to watch Mary Ann Mendoza, a speaker at the RNC convention tonight. She was hooked up with Steve Bannon in the ‘We Bulid the Wall’ group whose folks just got indicted.

" Mendoza, an “angel mom,” is scheduled to speak Tuesday about her son’s 2014 death at the hands of a drunk driver who was in the country illegally. Her tweet on Tuesday linked to a lengthy thread from a QAnon conspiracy theorist that laid out a fevered, anti-Semitic view of the world. In its telling, the Rothschilds—a famous Jewish banking family from Germany—created a plot to terrorize non-Jewish “goyim,” with purported details of their scheme that included plans to “make the goyim destroy each other” and “rob the goyim of their landed properties.”

Drawing on more than a century’s worth of anti-Semitic hoaxes and smears, the thread claimed that malevolent Jewish forces in the banking industry are out to enslave non-Jews and promote world wars. Riddled with QAnon references, the thread from Twitter user @WarNuse claimed that the Titanic had been sunk to protect the Federal Reserve, and that every president between John F. Kennedy and Donald Trump was a “slave president” in the thrall of a global cabal.

The thread also promoted “The Protocols of the Elders of Zion,” an anti-Semitic hoax popular in Nazi Germany, and claimed that its allegations about a Jewish plot to control the world are real.

“The Protocols of the Elders of Zion is not a fabrication,” the thread that Mendoza shared reads. And, it certainly is not anti-semetic (sic) to point out this fact.” "

Mendoza has been banned by Facebook and Twitter for weird posts.

One can criticize Israel without endorsing the Protocols or being an antisemite.

There are plenty of people who have said why they think Trump is so bad including members of his own family. His own sister, Maryanne Trump Barry, said why she thinks he’s bad:
The change of stories. The lack of preparation. The lying…It’s the phoniness of it all. It’s the phoniness and this cruelty. Donald is cruel…Donald is out for Donald, period…He was a brat. I did his homework for him. I drove him around New York City to try to get him into college. He went to Fordham for one year [actually two years] and then he got into University of Pennsylvania because he had somebody take the exams.

His neice, Mary Trump, wrote a whole book explaining why she thinks he’s bad: Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World’s Most Dangerous Man. She says that her uncle’s “real skills” are “self-aggrandizement, lying, and sleight of hand.”

Agreed. One can go after powerful banking elites and not be an antisemite. But bringing in the Protocols is just wrong.

Which was self-acknowleged and far less serious than the chemicals ingested by Bush. Remember when between the president and the veep there were 3 DUI’s? Obama did not really have an obnoxious past.

The illegality and norm breaking of the RNC last night was breathtaking.

I thought some of the speakers’ stories were compelling, but for me it was completely overshadowed by the Hatch Act violations and using Presidential actions, government resources, people, and venues in pursuit of the President’s reelection.

Oh yeah. And the lies.
