Don’t get me wrong there are many who say they are former republicans but left because of Trump.Personally,I don’t buy it
You need to take people at their word.

I understand the comment about not bashing Democrats. The polarization of CAF makes it hard to give an inch sometimes. I don’t agree with the many Democratic Party ideas. I’m willing to accept them to get Trump out of office and stabilize things.

So, yes, I am much more anti-Trump than pro-Democrat. Definitely not a Democratic Socialist, although I think the early Church (at least in Acts) was just that. However, I do find social justice topics compelling.

I find the Dems platform frightening. There is nothing about the Trump presidency that even rises to the level of what they are hoping to achieve.I enjoy rmy freedoms way too much to risk losing everything to the power hungry Marxist Dems

See, It’s hyperbole like that that turns people off. Biden is definitely not a Marxist, so to bring that up in context of the election is disingenuous.

I don’t want to see that either, but it’s not on the table.

Yes I think so too…the Russian hoax, Kavanaugh persecution and anti Catholicism might all stem from the Pro Life policies of President Trump and his administration. Have not watched all but a comparison of conventions so far seems to be…

Republican - Pro Life - positive
Democrat - pro abortion - negative

Biden may very well not be,he will merely be a figurehead.Look who he chose or perhaps look who was chosen for him to be his vp pick.He has a,ready stated he will embrace much of BS platforms, put them into his presidency. Not to mention AOC.

Biden is too much of a corporatist to be a Marxist. The entire Democratic party is at base just a proponent of a corporate-state. Which is a shame because they used to be more for local power.

I do believe the Dems are naively courting certain further left elements, however.

All this only matters if Biden wins and the Republicans lose the Senate and the Democrats keep the House.

If not, it’ll be four more years of stalemates and Executive Orders. Yes, both parties overuse EOs.

Even if Biden wins he won’t be so ignorant as to put radicals in charge of anything important. A few token appointments? Sure. But he won’t go wild and make one the Attorney General or something like that.

I liked all the speakers that I was able to see last night but especially Maximo Alvarez…
Those false promises – spread the wealth, free education, free healthcare, defund the police, trust a socialist state more than your family and community – they don’t sound radical to my ears. They sound familiar.
Herschel Walker…
Some people don’t like his style, the way he knocks down obstacles that get in the way of his goals. People on the opposing team they don’t like when I ran over them either, but that’s how you get the job done. lol
Looking forward to Pro Life warrior Abby Johnson and Nick Sandmann tonight.

that makes me laugh.

Donald Trump inherited a great economy from Obama
Donald Trump puts illegal immigrant children in cages(,A practice initiated by Obama)
Donald Trump is racist
Donald Trump cheated his way not the White House
When the Republicans go low we go high
There was a whole lotta projection going on there🙄

That was an interesting analysis.

Though I didn’t vote for him and won’t, I do think TDS is a thing. It’s like the Republicans were over Obama. It’s a direct mirror image.

When Trump was elected I saw a woman nearly cry over it and I asked her what she thought of Obama’s military adventures overseas that actually, you know, killed people. The response I got from a guy in the room? “Trump made a joke about sexual assault!” No word about the victims of drone strikes.

I also find it hypocritical that people got so upset over Trump’s remark about women when no one gets upset over prison rape jokes.

It’s true, he did. So did Obama. But, a big TRUE for Trump.
Donald Trump is racist
There are too many articles to pick from here.

Start with the consent decree between DOJ and the Trump Organization in the early seventies after they refused to rent to Black people, and then Google “Is Donald Trump racist”
Donald Trump cheated his way not the White House
Not sure where that comes from. There is no evidence he cheated in 2016. He got extremely lucky to lose the popular voted but win some swing states by about 78,000 votes. He won fair and square.

Although, people say he cheats at everything else.

Trump doesn’t just cheat at golf. He cheats like a three-card Monte dealer. He throws it, boots it, and moves it. He lies about his lies. He fudges and foozles and fluffs. At Winged Foot, where Trump is a member, the caddies got so used to seeing him kick his ball back onto the fairway they came up with a nickname for him: “Pele.”

Michelle Obama being all lugubrious and emotional when referring tomTrump putting children in cages is just so disingenuous.Dont ya think?🤨
HillaryClinton is still wining about DT cheating his way into the WH.That was her contribution to the DNC

No. Trump did it. It looked terrible. There are still some children, I’m sure, who haven’t been reunited with their parents.

And, by the way, whatever happened to the caravans?

I truly don’t understand why Mitt Romney who seems like a good and decent person
Maybe he’s not. The Dems in 2012 certainly didn’t think so and said it loud and clear. I didn’t agree with them then, and wouldn’t now for the things they accused him of. But he’s putting his own ego ahead of a lot of good things, including Trump’s actions to protect conscience and the unborn. That’s not at all admirable.

Most deifnitely. But the reality is that separating minors (definitely not all were “children”) from their adult co-travelers (not all were “parents”) was ordered by the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals against the Obama administration. They weren’t “cages” either, but security enclosures to keep them from escaping and to keep the adults, some of whom were sex traffickers, from them.

That’s different. Obama doing it is fine and we’ll just not discuss it. Trump does it, holy cow we gotta talk about it nonstop.
