Rosalind Moss' New Community -Daughters of Mary, Mother of Israel's Hope

According to the schedule for the Catholic Answers Live radio show Sister Rosalind will be on the show tomorrow Wednesday June 3 at 3:00 Pacific time. It looks like she hasn’t left St Louis yet. Try to catch it either live or later in the archives.
 
Hi…I’m so excited to hear about Rosalind’s new order and have desired to start one myself! I have desire and lots of ideas but I don’t know how to start. I’d love to hear from anyone who can share their thoughts on this. Thanks and God Bless!

She mentioned that she would be seeing her good friend Archbishop Burke in La Crosse, WI the weekend of July 31-August 2, 2009 (which was last weekend). It was to be a festive anniversary of the dedication of the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe. She may have more details on today’s radio show.

Did any of you see the EWTN movie last week entitled “The Nun”?
It was a beautiful documentary showing the life of a Swedish nun. It spanned about 14 years of her life from age 18 when she was living at home to about age 32. Fascinating!

I hope I have this right because Sister announced when she left for her year with the Visitation Sisters that she would prefer being on at 4:00pm Pacific. That way her obligations for the day would be completed. The schedule for September 2 has her down in the 3:00 spot. If anyone knows if the schedule is not correct please let us know.

I am so excited …there are many women out there who wanted to become a sister or nun but because they are advanced in years somewhat become a hindrance to them…

I will share this to all the women that I have known…God is good.

Those of us who listen to Catholic Live on Immaculate Heart radio in the western part of the US will not have it because of a pledge drive. If we wish to hear it live we will need to go to the Catholic Answers website front page and click on “listen”. Or we can wait a day and listen in the archives.

Anyone interested in joining Sister Rosalind’s new order next year? Anyone corresponding with the headquarters? If you have any questions about her community you can talk to her live tomorrow.

I feel as faithful as an old dog waiting for it’s master to return home. Patience! Patience!

Sister Rosalind’s one year leave has put this thread more or less on hold…except when she allows that one hour twice a month update when we can hear her sweet New York accent.
