Does anyone know if there Is there an email address for Rosalind Moss regarding her new religious order? I read that they’re going to be called “Daughters of Mary, Mother of Israel’s Hope.” And no age limit for entrants!! What an exciting concept! God bless her efforts.
Cosette,
Welcome to the Rosalind thread! I hope you can find the time to read some of the other posts on this thread. Now that we have over 80 posts I guess that is asking a lot!!
Roz will be starting her community in St Louis but plans to spread out throughout the entire USA. She will still be traveling for a while because of previous committments so she gave us her gmail address for now. It is
rosalindmoss@gmail.com
Yes, they will be calling the new community the Daughters of Mary, Mother of Israel’s Hope in honor of Rosalind’s Jewish heritage. If you hear from Rosalind, I hope you let us know.

Do you have any idea what the plan is for spreading out across the U.S. and how long it will take to set up a few … how quickly Roz is hoping to set up in other places than just St. Louis?

I think you are right. It seems a bit “coincidental” doesn’t it that she is doing this in my Archdiocese at the same times that I have been getting a calling to do this rurally? hmmmm 😉

I have been thinking about this seriously for a week in discernment and will contact her to express my calling and how it seems to be pretty much a branch of what she will do.

Blessings.

Hi all - I am new here. I tried to contact Rosalind Moss via the email address given which was rmoss@catholic.com but the email bounced and came back to me.

Does anyone have valid contact info like a phone number or email address or even snail mail address? I would like to find out more about her new order.

Thanks

I am sure that her email box is full and that’s why it bounced back! My suggestion would be to telephone the Archdiocese of St. Louis and see if a human person can speak to about this. She is just so busy with making the move to St. Louis that she may not have time to respond. But at the Archdiocese, there would certainly be someone…maybe the vocation direction of the Archdiocese…who will speak with you.

Thank you so much for that - it never occured to me to phone the Archdiocese - silly me!

Nunsense – Thank you so much for Rosalind’s e-mail address. I’m going to contact her as soon as I can. I’m really looking forward to hearing from her. She has always been one of my favorite EWTN guests/hosts.

OnetrueChurch – Thank you for this e-mail address for Rosalind. I’ll certainly give it a try and see if I can get through to her.

I have sent three emails to Rosalind and this is what I found.
The one to rmoss@catholic.com bounced back
The one to rosalindmoss@gmail.com has not bounced yet
The third one I sent to the diocese of St Louis requesting that they pass it on to Rosalind or send me her contact details. I will also try phoning them tomorrow.

Doesn’t it sound incredibly exciting to be considering a religious community that is new and might actually be getting off the ground? There are so many new communities that never actually make it - but with the support of the diocese and such a high profile foundress, I am hopeful that this one might actually make it! I would love to be able to be part of the birth of a new community and to be able to support someone who has such vision and intelligence.

Please anyone who hears more about this - post here and let us know. If I hear anything, I will do the same.

Rosalind gave her gmail address when she was on the “Journey Home” show April 7. That was the one she would be checking. She did say you would have to be patient because she had to finish up all her traveling obligations.

rosalindmoss@gmail.com

You can listen to the audio of the “Journey Home” show interview on the ewtn.com website. Go to the library at the top of the ewtn.com homepage. Click on “audio”. Then click on “latest additions” and scroll down to Journey Home. Her interview is “Jewish Convert”.

Yes, Nunsense, I truly believe this community will be getting off the ground. When you have two living saints named Rosalind Moss and Archbishop Burke creating it, you know it will succeed!:nun1: :highprayer:

Rosalind… if you’re following this thread. I have a suggestion. Would it be possible… for you to proceed with the founding of the Order and maybe have certain parts of the process filmed… in documentary style? (Psst, EWTN… possibility for a new series?.. with Rosalind’s and the Bishop’s permission, of course).

This might be a real spring board for young (and not so young) women to actually see the process. To learn what it means to become a sister (or brother?). To know that serving the Lord can be a very human and possible endeavor, with His grace. That all of us, are called to be saints. I think there are a lot of people out there… to whom vocations might be a little bit scary… or at least, confusing.

Walking the “process” with you… might increase vocations. :o Just a thought. Praying for you.:gopray2:

What a great idea! I think many would be interested in watching.

You can only get EWTN through pay tv anywhere. It isn’t broadcast over the airwaves. That’s not because EWTN wants to charge folks money for it. It’s because to get EWTN through paid tv, they only have to get it set up with a couple of tv providers. To get it broadcast, they’d have to go out and pay for airtime on tv stations in every city that they wanted it on.

That website is simply a website that takes tv signals and sends them over the internet. All a DSL modem is is a particular type of internet service.

All you need to do if you want to see EWTN is go to the link that was posted and try it out. If it works, it works, and if it doesn’t, it doesn’t. 🙂
This is wrong. There is a station here that broadcasts nothing but EWTN programming for the Denver-Metropolitan Area (ch. 23 on the antenna, also available through Comcast, DISH and DirecTV). Also you can stream EWTN TV and Radio broadcasts on the Internet in Real and WIndows Media formats.

I am going to hear Rosalind speak this Saturday in Georgia. I hope to be able to grab a moment to ask her about her religious community, if possible. In the meantime, I got this reply from the Diocese…

*Dear Ms. Macleod,

Thank you for your message. Recently, Rosalind Moss has made available an address to which interested persons may write for more information about the religious institute she is establishing, the Daughters of Mary, Mother of Israel’s Hope. The address is as follows:

Rosalind Moss
P.O. Box 582
La Mesa, CA 91944

We hope that this information is helpful. If we might be of further assistance in this regard, please do not hesitate to write back.

Sincerely,

Office of Communications
Archdiocese of St. Louis*

Well if you get a chance to bend her ear, then tell her just 30 miles east of Springfield (same archdiocese), I need her to start a branch of rural nuns! Kathie

Also tell her, if you have a chance, that Pittsburgh can use an order of rural nuns too!!! We have too many orders here that don’t really wear a habit at all.

:kissme: Kathy :irish2:

Also tell Rosalind to read this thread. She has lots of fans here at CA.

…and if she has any interest in Australia, please ask her to contact me too:)
