Well the administration that holds leadership in our country supports the liquidation of 400,000 black children a year. so you might have a point.

Would you be cool with it if the government officially declared a month to be White History Month or White Pride Month? Keep in mind that in the USA whites are quickly becoming a minority, and blacks now have a black POTUS who was elected twice. Also know that I’m of African American descent.

I can definitely understand Russia’s fear of “Western liberalism” - it’s the same fear many Muslims have too - since such “liberalism” seems to equate to pornography, licentiousness, promotion of same-sex anything, drug-taking, breakdown of marriages…the list goes on. And again, I commend their stance against it, but we all need to be careful not to go to the opposite extreme and begin harassing people unjustly.

Do you have a reference for this ‘forced medical procedures’ being in the bill? I follow the gay press and recall no mention of it. And please don’t play the Muslim card since other religions have had their say regarding this topic as well.

Well, first of all- there is no such thing as “white”, except that “whiteness” is an absence of minority status as legally attributed in various ways through US history.

In that sense every month is “White History Month”.

Where is your evidence that “1 in 20” people in the U.S. “desire the liquidation” of homosexuals?

Not your imagination, your evidence. You said you imagined it, right?

Look at your post 67. Actually read it, and stop dodging.

Hi Ed, I don’t know if it is specified in the bill, I was referring to the article about that part, where it states:
Lawmakers have accused gays of decreasing Russia’s already low birth rates and said they should be barred from government jobs, undergo forced medical treatment or be exiled.

Now they want to take away children from gays and lesbians.

Elena Mizulina,the author of unconstitutional and anti-scientific law “Prohibition of non-traditional sexual relationships among minors” criticized by professional psychologists and by the legal office of the state Duma itself , speaks:
“There are children who are raised by same-sex couples and a legal amendment to our “Prohibition of non-traditional sexual relationships among minors” law is being considered so as to make it possible for social services to take these children away on the grounds of being exposed to same-sex cohabitation.”

It is worth noting that this amendment is so vague according to experts that single fathers and moms raising children are also at risk of having their children forcefully removed from their care under false allegations.

Fascism is already HERE. Anyways, these “morality” laws enacted by the state Duma(by deputies who were NOT elected as well as the “president”) in the past year is just the means to cover other “laws” aimed at taking away civil liberties,violating The Constitution and keeping tchekist federal criminals who occupied Russia under the reign of Putin safe from the Russians as they become more and more angry with the government and the president because of unprecedented level of lawlessness backed by law enforcing agencies(oh the irony!) , OMON and FSB( former KGB).

maybe the Russian Orthodox are also planning a crackdown on the RCs and the incident that prompted this bill was a pretext.

the giddy people applauding these morality laws never, and I mean never, consider that the cure is worse than the disease.

We had so called morals laws in the USA for decades and decades with no fascism. The unprincipled do not like them because it limits license.

and the principled don’t like them for even better reasons.

e.g., among the “morals laws” were anti-miscegenation statutes, laws against Catholic parochial schools, etc. and those are the ones that are just plain ugly on their face.
