With obama’s supposed high intellect shouldn’t he have learned that killing innocent children is wrong.

Journalism if I recall correctly. She also fished summers and even participated, a bit reluctantly, in a beauty pageant to help pay her way. I think she graduated debt free, although I could be wrong.Yes, I do know. Obama graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law School and was the first African American to become president of the Harvard Law Review./QUOTE]
Yes, but couldn’t manage a 3.3 GPA at Columbia/Occidental. Kind of strange don’t you think?
The Harvard Law Review use to be a prestigious thing. Not so anymore from what I’ve heard.

Interestingly, they both went to college in Hawaii. Palin went to community college and transferred to a college in Alaska, I think. Yes, she got a B.A. in journalism, and she would probably be successful as a local news reporter. Who knows why Obama didn’t do so well in college; maybe he was fooling around with…Sarah Palin! Or smoking pot. But he was magna cum laude at Harvard Law School. Now, I’ve known several intelligent people who did not even go to college and several stupid people who did. I’m not saying college–even Harvard Law–is the be-all and end-all of intelligence and wisdom. At the same time, it does give one an appreciation of the fundamentals of political science.
Come now, that’s a moral issue rather than a question of intelligence, and people of different religious faiths have honest disagreements about abortion. Besides, we really can’t expect our politicians to have the highest moral standards: after all, they’re politicians! With obama’s supposed high intellect shouldn’t he have learned that killing innocent children is wrong.
The disagreement may be honest, but it is still murder. And I submit that the vast majority of the “honest” disagreement (at least among pro-abortion politicians) is hooeyCome now, that’s a moral issue rather than a question of intelligence, and people of different religious faiths have honest disagreements about abortion. Why yes… he learned his utter failure early…He was less experienced than several other candidates when he ran; but he has the intellect to learn fast, which he has done. And at least he understood the basics of history and government to begin with.
ROFL,it turns out Sarah was right, she was giving them a college level answer and the press was trying to correct her with third grade misinformation. For one thing, he never shouted the “British are coming” because that would have broke military protocol. She’s a regular Bachmann:
"Sarah Palin apparently flubbed details of Paul Revere’s famous midnight ride when she visited Boston yesterday. The former Alaska governor, who may or may not be running for the GOP presidential nomination, thought Revere was warning the British army during the Revolutionary War…
“He who warned, uh, the … the British that they weren’t gonna be takin’ away our arms, uh, by ringin’ those bells and, um, by makin’ sure that as he’s ridin’ his horse through town to send those warnin’ shots and bells that, uh, we were gonna be secure and we were gonna be free … and we were gonna be armed.”
Revere was, in fact, riding from Boston to Lexington to warn John Hancock and Samuel Adams of the approaching British army.

But her folks explain (this only being available on a blog):
“Following the Sarah Palin playbook of never admitting error, the ex-governor’s minions are busy flooding the Internet with ’proof’ that Palin did not misspeak when suggesting that Paul Revere warned the British that they would not be taking arms from the colonists during his ride where he, apparently, rung bells and fired muskets.”

Look, you made a mistake. Admit it and move on.
“Those quibbling with Governor Palin’s statements have their history incomplete. During Paul Revere’s ride he was stopped by British soldiers, which Revere recounts in a 1789 letter maintained by the Massachusetts Historical Society ,in his original language (emphasis mine):
macsmind.com/wordpress/index.phpI observed a Wood at a Small distance, & made for that. When I got there, out Started Six officers, on Horse back, and orderd me to dismount;-one of them, who appeared to have the command, examined me, where I came from,& what my Name Was? I told him. it was Revere, he asked if it was Paul? I told him yes He asked me if I was an express? I answered in the afirmative. He demanded what time I left Boston? I told him; and aded, that their troops had catched aground in passing the River, and that There would be five hundred Americans there in a short time, for I had alarmed the Country all the way up. He imediately rode towards those who stoppd us, when all five of them came down upon a full gallop; one of them, whom I afterwards found to be Major Mitchel, of the 5th Regiment, Clapped his pistol to my head, called me by name, & told me he was going to ask me some questions, & if I did not give him true answers, he would blow my brains out. He then asked me similar questions to those above. He then orderd me to mount my Horse, after searching me for arms.He then orderd them to advance, & to lead me in front. When we got to the Road, they turned down towards Lexington. When we had got about one Mile, the Major Rode up to the officer that was leading me, & told him to give me to the Sergeant. As soon as he took me, the Major orderd him, if I attempted to run, or any body insulted them, to blow my brains out. We rode till we got near Lexington Meeting-house, when the Militia fired a Voley of Guns, which appeared to alarm them very much.”
I could but I’m not going to debate these points, because the thread is really about Palin, not Obama. But I will say that, for all Obama’s faults, if Palin is elected it will be much worse for all of us, guaranteed. Why yes… he learned his utter failure early…
Gitmo still open… perhaps he learned Bush was right?
Spending billions on a stimulus was not going to keep unemployment under 8%… he learned his utter incompetence with basic economics with that one.
Perhaps he learned raising taxes during a recession isnt such a good idea as he said during the campaign. He didnt raise taxes on those awful rich people. Perhaps he learned quickly the error in his thinking on that one…
He learned that pesky issue of being transparent and posting bills online for 3 days was… not really his thing.
He learned a big lesson in 2010 when his party got a ‘shellacking’ because of his…uh… brilliance in raming a healthcare bill through that nobody read and the vast majority of Americans dont want.
And now… I guess I will just be watching his math skills as he tries to explain how medicare collapsing in 9 years warrants no changes.
But, yeah. liberals… keep trying to convince me that Palin is stupid and that guy who cant speak without a telepromter is so brilliant.
Your kidding right? Have you seen how much he has spent and wants to spend?I could but I’m not going to debate these points, because the thread is really about Palin, not Obama. But I will say that, for all Obama’s faults, if Palin is elected it will be much worse for all of us, guaranteed.
To you, as a Catholic, abortion is always murder. To me, as a Jew, there are exceptions, based on Scripture. Same for Quakers, I believe, but for different reasons. I don’t want to discuss abortion on this thread. We have many other threads on which the topic is discussed. The disagreement may be honest, but it is still murder. And I submit that the vast majority of the “honest” disagreement (at least among pro-abortion politicians) is hooey
Ah but its RECOVER SUMMER!Your kidding right? Have you seen how much he has spent and wants to spend?![]()
Hard to guarantee pure speculation based on no facts. She was good for Alaska, that is a fact.I could but I’m not going to debate these points, because the thread is really about Palin, not Obama. But I will say that, for all Obama’s faults, if Palin is elected it will be much worse for all of us, guaranteed.
I mentioned Palin’s all too obvious ignorance in some areas. When you think about it, that’s what this thread is about. Not the president nor abortion.I am always amazed when an Obama supporters criticizes anyone for lack of experience
As Barbara Bush said about Sarah Palin: she should stay in Alaska. Well, now Arizona.Hard to guarantee pure speculation based on no facts. She was good for Alaska, that is a fact.
In other words:I mentioned Palin’s all too obvious ignorance in some areas. When you think about it, that’s what this thread is about. Not the president nor abortion.
She does not have the breadth of knowledge to be the commander in chief.
Sorty Beau. When you voted for Obama you lost any moral authority to question anyones qualifications for PresidentI mentioned Palin’s all too obvious ignorance in some areas. When you think about it, that’s what this thread is about. Not the president nor abortion.
She does not have the breadth of knowledge to be the commander in chief.
I don’t really care what Mrs. Bush said. She is just as much of an elitist as the rest of them.As Barbara Bush said about Sarah Palin: she should stay in Alaska. Well, now Arizona.
Either do I.I don’t really care what Mrs. Bush said.
