Hm, I could swear I unhid it. I’ll go unhide it again and hope it stays unhidden this time.

Edited to add, I unhid it again (unchecked the hide profile box and saved). Thanks for alerting me to that tomo_pomo.

Yes…just go to your account summary page and select messages. Then select New Message and type in her name as I showed above! She’ll get it!

Edit to add…it’s now unhidden! Way to go Tis!

Wait, WHAT!!! What did I miss here? I saw some message pop up, but I never read those so I just “x”'d it out and jumped on here. Ther forum is closing…like for ever?!

Found the message/notice. Well, crap. I know I’ve been hit-n-mostly-miss the past couple years, but I got my “apologetics legs” here and I am forever grateful. I love you all and will miss you.

I think I’m going to miss Jeeves, Albert and Sebastian.

We really ought to have a big farewell party for CAF. Might I suggest some potent potables since we’re over 21? I prefer champagne and zinfandel.
 
Man, I STILL don’t get to sit at the cool kids’ table. Alas, perhaps I’ll be cooler at the new lounge…nah, who am I fooling?!

Thank you all. Thank you @Pattylt @fin @catholic03 @Lou2U who made mention of me on this thread. You remain warmly in my memory also.

Having been here since April 2008, among the many current and recent members whose names are familiar and respected, there are many others whose names I remember and whom I have missed and wondered about.

One member not so much, because back in 2008 she had a thread for those who thought they might never get married, so I asked her to include in her list, my eldest son, who was going through a very difficult time. Always gentle and generous, she felt badly for him and made a contact. They became dear friends … and she is the only CAF person I’ve met in person and any time we wish, because she emigrated and became my son’'s loving wife.

I look forward to seeing you all in heaven, with God’s mercy.
That will be a wonderful reunion for us all.
So many people.

@Trishie thanks for the kind words as well. If I may ask, is the member who became your son’s wife was her username Musician or something similar? I remember years ago a member posted that she prayed for certain friends to be able to find a spouse and they did, which got the ball rolling for other members to ask to be included in her prayers, including myself.

That’s an interesting story, people who met their spouse via CAF.
