I do not wish to demean the great and wonderful work Father Euteneuer is doing, but I was asked for a reason, and I gave a possible reason. I am not saying Fr. Morris is more educated on the matters of sanctity of life, rather he has more extensive studies in ethics, in such, the situation in how Father Euteneuer came across, is a matter of ethics.
I wish there are no vice-rector’s on this forum. It is a huge responsibility to be a rector or vice-rector because you are in charge of the formation of priests, it is one of the greatest gifts and most daunting ‘burdens’ a priest can receive, IMO. A very important job, that is not to be pushed aside, as I know you weren’t but it may come across that way. Just as I wish not to make it a competition between the priests or in any way “push aside” what Fr. Euteneuer is doing and the great accomplishments in his ministry. Rather I was giving a possibility of a reason for Fr. Morris’ correct response to Mr. Hannity, noting that he did not respond to Father Euteneuer.
