Does anyone here actually believe that the people of England would consrnt to be under Sharia Law, thereby making it obligatory to have Islam as the State religion?

That wont happen. What I’m afraid of is if the reasonable people in Europe don’t stand up to the Muslims, it will lead to a resurgence of facism.And you are so naaaiiivve! If the only ones who will defend European culture are the LePens, the neo-nazis and the British National Party, when things get bad enough, people will turn to them, and we’ll have a blood bath.
Which is still better than Europe going Muslim, but not much.

What Europe needs is a Christian revival, and Christian Democrats to start living up to both parts of their titles.

Im definately no expert on the issue. But if Sharia law were to be implemented there, surely that would either lead to or trigger civil war in the country.

We have crazy people in America who get a lot of attention for saying stupid things also. Most Americans express outrage when offensive things are said. How are people of the UK reacting to the fact that a public figure believes that they will eventually be living under Sharia law?

No one’s going to fight and die for secularism. I believe, when the threat becomes imminent, Europeans will turn back to Christianity. Russia is already reconverting to Orthodoxy. It will happen in the West too.

We’re fairly handy with our fists too
and most of the armed forces (best in the world) are non Muslim. I think we’d have a fighting chance against the what…5% of the country who are Muslim, most of whom are children. Yeah we have a shot.

Yes, it is quite easy to be bold about Islam when you are sitting anonymously behind a computer.
Saying what you say here to a group of Muslims in person is a different story.
