God bless you too Josie.
Fighting to make people aware of the plight of Christians and other minorities in the Middle East via conventions, assemblies/protests, schools, the Internet. . . etc. What would you consider an āeffective means to fight Islamā?
Uh, actually, I seem to recall crushing various and assorted arguments youāve made to me in the past. If the the articleās beyond you, which I know for a fact it isnāt, then just research Gellerās biography instead. Also, I generally never even bother to follow up on the comments people might make regarding my statements, but I sometimes break my rule simply because I like you, and I enjoy your retorts. Seriously, though, did you even read the NPR link? Also, be aware that that article referred to other articles. Are you unaware of Israelās roots as a terrorist state? Are you familiar with Einstein"s comments on the subject? Itās absurd to suggest that Jews donāt have a rich history of terrorism, as, of course, other ethnicities also share. But I canāt tell; you seem to automatically defend any and all Jews guilty of anything. Honestly T, itās an unrealistic position to take or defend. Read, for instance, Meyer Lanskyās bio.I asked you to show me where the article states that Jews sponsored this event. If you cannot prove it, and the article does not say it, then that means you have been untruthful⦠Weāve been over this before, rememberā¦?
Please quote it or retract the statement.
Yes, agreed. Another problem here is these people attack others and often it seems they really donāt need a reason. We have God on our sideā¦and God will prevail
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ayaan_Hirsi_AliShe declared that the religion of Islam had to be ādefeatedā, and regards its followers as āenemiesā[2] that need to be ācrushedā before āpeaceā can be achieved. She collaborated on a short movie with Theo van Gogh, entitled Submission (2004). Critical of Islam, it provoked controversy, and death threats were made against each of the two. Van Gogh was assassinated later that year by a Dutch Muslim.
They are just trying to intimidate us by saying āWE ARE HERE!!!āISIS has officially taken responsibility for the shootong which is very odd considering that their mission was not accomplished and their operatives were killed. You would think they wouldnāt want that egregious failure on their āresume of terrorā but I guess I was wrong.
Desperate Much?
Naive much? The event was organized by a Jewish hate group.

In my view, it was very likely simply an attempt to have an American Charlie Hedbo incident.
Did you even see the winning drawing? Again, Naive much?Indeed. A Jewish hate group. Please refer to the NPR blog post, which explains it well enough.
I have no idea what your smileys are trying to communicate.
Jewish hate groups exist. Muslim hate groups exist.
This event was deliberate, to whatever limited extent hatred can be called conscious.
āYesterday, December 7th, 1941, a date which will live in infamy, a cartoon of Muhammad was suddenly and deliberately drawn by crayon artists of the Empire of Japan. The United States was at peace with that nation ā¦ā
I have my answer.Cool!I always like it when analogies I cannot grasp still make me laugh out loud!
I suspect you possess the mind of a poet, by the way.
Why do you have to convince that itās wrong to shoot people for drawing unflattering caricatures? Shouldnāt that be self evident?Fighting to make people aware of the plight of Christians and other minorities in the Middle East via conventions, assemblies/protests, schools, the Internet. . . etc.
There are many things we can do that would prove to society that we are in the right, I just donāt believe holding Mohammed cartoon contests is the best way to show that we are. At worst, people will think us hateful, has as already been demonstrated in this thread.
p.s. Although there will always be those who will think us hateful no matter what we do, but it is not these people that we are trying to convince.
Iām stating that drawing Mohammed cartoons is not the most effective means of criticizing Islam. Why do you have to convince that itās wrong to shoot people for drawing unflattering caricatures? Shouldnāt that be self evident?
So while Obama questions the reasonableness of Charlie Hebdo, the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) grants money to artists who depict Jesus and Mary in urine and defecate and homosexual acts, etc. and nobody seems to highlight the double standard.Iām stating that drawing Mohammed cartoons is not the most effective means of criticizing Islam.
The most explicit fatwa banning the portrayal of Muhammad, she notes, isnāt tucked into some ancient text. It arrived in 2001. And its creator was the Taliban. The ban is a very modern construct.
Itās not a criticism of Islam, itās a criticism of those organizations within Islam, like ISIS, or the Taliban, or the Muslim Brotherhood, who wish to impose Sharia law on the West, and their secular fellow travelers who will look fondly on any occasion to stick a thumb in the eye of Christians.Iām stating that drawing Mohammed cartoons is not the most effective means of criticizing Islam.
