So what does this have to do with Muslims or extremists-- Let’s clean up our own nation before we can “smoke” out the radical Muslims by using arrogance, and violence.
Abortion is just as cruel a Jihad — and we have let it go on for decades now.
I agree with this a lot, however Muslims in the west become allies with those who are the strongest proponents of anything to do with abortion, ie the far liberal left.
The same happens in Europe.
So yes I would love to clean house, but most of Muslims in the west are strong supporters of the same ones who are the engine of the abortion movement. As if they could suspend their morality for the sake of some other goal. In my eyes makes them just as immoral.

Most, if not all, radical Muslims in the west are hand in hand with the same ones who are the most active for abortion.

What has the Holy Father said about efforts to specifically denigrate religious groups?

This Pro-America Freedom Defense front Initiative of Freedom is simply a hate group.
What do they hate?

If you look into what Muslims believe (which I just did as I thought they were against abortion)🤷 but it looks like they aren’t – like lots of folks here in our own neck of the woods.

We know as Christians that all people are made in the image and likeness of God. That means all people. Ahh even Muslims.

So out of 318. million people who live in USA.
There are around 3 to 7 million who are Muslims.
Our country is very diverse and we have around 64 million Catholics.
More than 80 percent of roman Catholics use birth control (which can be an abortifacient ). Around 28.1 percent of Roman Catholic women have had abortions. I think we Catholics desperately need to be evangelized.

37% of women obtaining abortions identify themselves as Protestant, and 28% identify themselves as Catholic (AGI).
At current rates, nearly one-third of American women will have an abortion (AGI).abort73.com/abortion_facts/us_abortion_statistics
** Since 1973 we have had over 57 million abortions as a nation. **

So what does this have to do with Muslims or extremists-- Let’s clean up our own nation before we can “smoke” out the radical Muslims by using arrogance, and violence. We are in the Easter Season still. Our life is very short and we need to be Alleluia people. I am not going to judge Pamela as I have in the other posts. I will pray for her. The most important thing in life is if I am pleasing to God.
Abortion is just as cruel a Jihad — and we have let it go on for decades now.

Instead of “smoking” out the Muslims why not take in the middle eastern refugees who are starving out there because of ISIL – Why not do something now instead of drawing stupid, small minded cartoons— As a nation do we have nothing better to do with our time (on a Sunday no less) then to have contests against a religion?

Bye-- I’m living in the Joy of the resurrection and if I have said anything in a bigoted way towards anyone or towards a Muslim – I sincerely ask forgiveness – If any Muslims are reading this–Get to know Our Lady of Fatima and what she asks all people to do. Believe me Jesus is worth eternal life and we have martyrs to prove that – right now! Alleluia!
I think it is likely that these two terrorists were just waiting for an opportunity to strike. Lucky for us, they chose Texas and are now rehabilitated.

Thank Pam Geller for saving innocent lives.

I am aware that Judaism and Catholicsm along with the various branches of Christian denominations that worship the Triune God are worshipping the One True God. However, a political entity ruled by their self described law founded by a pederast and with huge numbers of their faithful waging a terrorist campaign to slaughter my brothers and sister of faith leads me to believe that Islam does not worship the same God I do. If they did they would not need to be converted, because salvation is through Christ only.
I think your comment is spot on, I could not say it as well. This topic has been explored numerous times. The same God is worshiped but the Bible, God’s word makes it clear there will be false prophets.

It’s a bit complex, you say it well.

I know I said good bye but what you wrote is pretty offensive and with cruel words. You know living in the Resurrection is not always easy-- it takes great faith and love. Our Lady, mother of sorrows, could have really hated the apostles for cowardly running away from Jesus as he died a horrific death on the cross. She forgave those men.
When I was home for (9/11) my world changed overnight. One of my best friends died in the Twin Towers. My home town had quite a few Muslims in it. In my home parish we had people die. One of my grammar school friends died that day as a brave fireman. He gave his life up for others. I remember that day as if it was yesterday. I can still hear a woman whose husband died in the towers, she begged us not to go into war, so did St. John Paul ll but president Bush never paid attention to that request. How many of our young men and women have died now in the military giving their lives-- how many have come home so horribly wounded for life.
And look at the Middle East now – we started it---- and then look at what Obama did to the middle East – and what did we do as Catholics? We voted in Obama. Amazing!
To forgive is Divine and thank God I had the gift of confession because I could very easily hate Muslims with ease but I seek to forgive and forgive and forgive.

The story of Ishmael in the bible tells us the story of a slave people. God promised they will be vast in number as well. Muslims don’t have the intimacy or know God the way we are privileged to. They still today behave like slaves to the master. They did learn who God was from the Jews and us, but is basically a heresy of Christianity. A heresy that reduces Christ to a mere second-hand prophet below Muhammad. They don’t know the mercy of God. They only see one aspect of God but not what He revealed to us through Jesus Christ. It is a very incomplete, limited knowledge of God.

They are in a sense prisoners of their own knowledge of God. It’s not that they worship a different God, but that they just know very little about Him. For them God is a master and thus require complete submission. For us, God is a master but also a Father.
The problem with just having a “master” knowledge of God is that when some fall and worship the god of this world instead, they still submit to him completely without free will involved.
The other problem with just worshiping a master rather than a father is that free will is limited to non-existent. That’s why we see and we have seen all through out the history of Islam, such a rise of terrorism within them. They are terrorized of God so some of them develop a tendency to terrorize others with the same fears they, themselves, feel about God.

The terrorists are propelled by forces which even they do not understand as there is very little free will involved in Islam in the first place. Years ago, each one made a decision of evil. As the years went on, the evil multiplied and took them in various directions, leading them to commit certain acts.

Submission only can be a double-edged sword. It is a great thing when submitting to the true God, but a horrible thing when one is not submitting to God. That is why we see Muslims who are very good moral people and that is why we see Muslims who are basically demonized human beings roaming the earth, ie ISIS, Boko Haram, Al qaida, Alfurqan, Al shabab, etc…

You forgive ISIS when they cut off innocent bystanders heads?

Yes, and so did Jesus on the cross! "Forgive them Father for they know not what they do "-- We Catholics really need to read our bible don’t you think? – Hate the sin but do not hate the sinner.

They are against abortion, however my issue is that if you look in Europe, Canada, and the US, the Muslims tend to allied themselves with the pro-abortion political end of the spectrum.
Take a look at the American Muslim organizations, such as CAIR, MAS, ICNA, ISNA, etc. they are all far-left supporters and the far-left is extremely pro-abortion.

That’s a cherry picked bible verse. Also, nobody gives you the right to forgive someone elses murder. You have no rights to it at all.

The genocide must end.

Forgive as best you can by asking for Our Lord to help you make your effort pleasing, and at the same time, you may go about defending yourself and others from evil and harm. Identifying the evil and harm is necessary and not to be confused with doing wrong. When innocent people are in the path of being killed one need do all within their capabilities and loving care to protect them. Saving your brother is a time to be glad and celebrate! It is not an act of being cruel - that’s for sure! Playing word games and helping justify Islamic terrorists as “victims” is not going to fly!

Yeah, but if you look into their beliefs they allow abortion up to certain gestation and even after that – so it would not surprise me that they do not have the same view as we do. regarding abortion. Planned Parenthood is so evil and look at how much money they get. Islam also does not believe in the blessed Trinity and for them it is absolute blasphemy to believe in the Trinity.
We have very different beliefs but that does not mean there is no hope I believe if we pray the rosary to end all these killings – the rosary has historically proven ways to bring peace just sincerely praying the rosary — Need to pray – I’m talking too much instead of praying — see you and have a blessed rest of Alleluia Sunday – the Joy of the lord is my strength! peace, shalom and 👋

Thank you. I still can’t believe that someone would be willing to forgive so much, that they forgive someone elses murderer, knowing neither the victim or the aggressor. Thats cheap.

There is no choice for those who want to end the genocide other than to attack the religion that is attatched to the ideology by the hip. What other options are there. Anybody… 🤷

I always enjoy seeing Zuhdi Jasser on Fox News as a commentator. He is a moderate voice and spent 11 years in the US Navy.

His organization wants to somewhat repeal the negative aspects we see, tall but noble endeavor.

An article at the Daily Beast:

thedailybeast.com/articles/2015/05/10/in-pam-geller-s-world-everybody-jihads.html

All of this is largely food for thought, yes, one can read rather emotional views on both sides, he’s moderate. I’d like to hope the moderate, middle-of-the-road view too could somehow work. Something to follow at least.

Zuhdi is really, like so many Muslims that do believe in coexistence, treat all of their brethren with deep respect. I know this thread only talks about the radicals. I have heard a number of Muslims talk about how bad people like ISIS make the whole faith look.

If you go back 50 years plus and minus, it sure is interesting how we had the “Red Scare” which was a valid fear in my view though sometimes not expressed in the best way per movies and the like. This nowadays, seems a bit similar.

Do you think it is a good thing that these terrorists were killed before they killed others?

Rights? Tell me what do rights mean to you? Dignity of the person. Hmm sacred scripture is more then a 'cherry picked verse" When one enters into the reality of the Pascal mystery it is about redemption and salvation. The death of Christ is not about apples and oranges. It is about the redemption of sinful humanity.
Jesus came to give life and give it more abundantly! He has come to save all humanity – people are enslaved with hate, with pornography and with so many addictions. Hate can never bring peace.
God bless – bye for now peace

We can pray and dialogue at the same time. The first step in Egalitarian Dialogue is setting the field straight for equality. That means Cannon Law, Sharia Law and Mosaic Law do not apply to others outside that faith. Then dialogue can begin. Until then, I guess we can ignore the slaughter of innocent children while we have our happy Alleluia Sunday.
