It’s all so true, Darryl… I’m afraid most people are still uneducated on the subject. Unfortunately, by the time they do take the time to do the research it will be too late. The tentacles of Salafism are quickly taking over the middle east and the West with a quickness, and the media is not educating us well enough. Even the please of the Christians in the ME, by Bishops and missionaries is not enough…🤷

It’s all so very disheartening. :o. Its like they are oblivious…🤷
Correct: She is sounding the alarm really.

She went through 911 and she started reading up on things.

She also stood up in not wanting that Mosque built near the 911 ground zero site.

Let the courts sort that matter out but good for some to stand up in opposition.

I totally agree, It would be extremely inappropriate to build a mosque at ground zero. That space should be dedicated to the victims, specifically. To even suggest building a Mosque there is rude to the highest degree. And then to fight and argue for it…? 🤷

What could be the harm? After all, a mosque was built on the site of the Jewish temple. That seems to have worked out pretty well over the years.

Remember… I said support the “military”, specifically, not the government in all that it does. Also, I respect your faith in being an instrument of God, to the highest degree. Though, not all of us are called to the same talents… Some of us can be pastoral, and some of us can be something else. None the less, We are all the Body of Christ. We are the Church.
“Military” is a branch of the government which I am sure you know and I am pretty sure I can still say I support them. My heart goes out to them the most in all of this because I beleive they have the toughest and highest calling some one can have and a lot of times thê are the ones caught in the middle having to walk along the edge of the sword trying to hold and keep the peace between radical Muslims and people who want to “smoke them out” all the while trying to protect the innocents. As well as the local law enforcement and government branches like the Home Land Securty Dept, FBI and CIA. My prayers are so with them and I have and always will have great admiration for those who follow thier calling in the military.
As for the rest of your post, I’m not sure about it so will have to pray and ponder on it.

Yes. And rather than stand against her, we should learn from her, even if that means we don’t agree with her exact methods, her purpose is worth noting.

I would love to see rallys and protests in opposition to Radical Islam. It’s been proven now more than ever that it is needed. In a sense, that’s what we can learn from Pamela Geller… At least, that’s what we should be learning. :o

With the rise of social media getting people to talk is no accomplishment at all - it’s getting them to shut up that is the problem 🙂

:compcoff: !st Amendment! With over 42,000 posts on your end - Wow! 😃

Also, note that Pamela Gellers exact methods of protest are not the only methods -they are merely hers. My own methods would be different if I had the resources. My point is only that she should not be condemned, cause and all.

…But i do doubt anyone less radical than she would have the guts to put their life on the line. In that sense, i respect her more than anything, whether her methods would be my personal choice or not.

Ok point taken.

2 points:
1st, I’ll have to take your word on your methods not being the same as hers but it’s not worth much seeing as your posts on just this thread alone have proven to me otherwise.

2nd, the extreme Muslims have the guts to put their lives on the line too.

Which is why, immigrants to the US should be vetted before allowing citizenship. We should not allow extremists that believe in violence here.

…Well, I never said they would meet your expectations…:D. But they would be my own.

Which is exactly why there is a decreasing number of moderate Muslims and an increase in radicals even here in the U.S. The trend is not slowing, and bashing Pamela Geller does not help.

…We need more protests.

There is nothing but cowardice involved in fighting behind children, and sending vulnerable people into crowds with bombs.

Nihilism of suicide bombing is the yellow response of people who do not have the courage to embrace life.

There is nobody more loathsome than those who attribute their evil to the Most High. That is the ultimate blasphemy, and to say a even a word of praise for such evil brings the definition of low to an entirely different level.

Terrorists and the people who oppose terrorist are both willing to put their lives on the line, but that doesn’t make terrorism morally equivalent to opposing terrorism.

The positive moral ground belongs to anyone who resists the ultimate blasphemy.

The dispute I thought that was going on in this thread is not about resisting the ultimate blasphemy but how we should or should not resist the ultimate blasphemy. Did I miss something?

Jihadwatch seems to claim they are the most hacked website in the world today which is probably so generally speaking. I don’t know where the stats are but I do know that does happen to these kinds of websites. If they weren’t presenting something crucial, I doubt this would be the case. Their websites may offend some, so one could say likewise, “what are they accomplishing?”

The other side of the coin is, it is hard to fathom why the worse PR for ISIS in the world’s view really is there putting videos out. It is said they do this for recruiting sake. It seems better remedies could be had than that though. What if we didn’t know all of these things that ISIS has done and we just got general news from over there?

Back to the point, those websites similar to Jihad Watch are offensive to some, so then, are we to assume, they should be taken down as well?

Intent.

That’s what it is to me. It’s not about how, its about putting in the effort or choosing to look away. Pamela Gellers ‘intentions’ are to stand up to all the murders and forced Islamization tactics of the radicals.

…perhaps to some it is about “how”. I’d like to see an alternate opinion, other than Gellers, on “how”.

Some have said prayer. But we can’t guarantee prayer. It didn’t help the Jews in Germany who were praying before their executions. This tells me God wants us to act and pray.

Well, if they hack CAF, and take me out, I would hope that people don’t say I was offensive and deserved what I got. But even now, I am potentially putting my life on the line. Hopefully for the good of God and His world.

If they kill me, would I be martyred? Or would I have been a fool? I wonder…
