5 He who conquers shall be clad thus in white garments, and I will not blot his name out of the book of life; I will confess his name before my Father and before his angels. 6 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’
Why do you suppose Jesus would refer to his intention not to do so, if it were not possible?There is no place in Scripture that states someone can be blotted out of the Book of Life. Is this a Catholic teaching? Doesn’t the Book of Life contain the names of the elect predestined before the foundation of the world?
