St Monica, please intercede for the conversion of our husbands.
Holy Spirit, please grant us graces to be inspirations of God’s love and truth to our spouses (and our children)

Prayer to Saint Joseph for all sick husbands to find help.

O glorious St. Joseph,
friend of the Sacred Heart of Jesus,
thou whose power renders impossible things possible,
come to our aid in our present trouble and distress.
Take these important and difficult affairs
which we recommend to your protection,
that they may end happily.

O dear St. Joseph,
all our confidence is in you.
Let it not be said that we have invoked you in vain,
and since you are so powerful with Jesus and Mary,
show that your goodness equals power.

Amen.

St. Joseph, friend of the Sacred Heart of Jesus,
pray for us and for all who invoke your aid.

St. Joseph, friend of the Sacred Heart of Jesus,
pray for us and for all who invoke your aid.

St. Joseph, friend of the Sacred Heart of Jesus,
pray for us and for all who invoke your aid.

**PRAYER TO ST. MONICA

Dear St. Monica,
troubled wife and mother,
many sorrows pierced your heart during your lifetime.
Yet, you never despaired or lost faith.
With confidence, persistence, and profound faith,
you prayed daily for the conversion
of your beloved husband, Patricius,
and your beloved son, Augustine;
your prayers were answered.
Grant me that same fortitude, patience,
and trust in the Lord.
Intercede for me, dear St. Monica,
that God may favorably hear my plea for

the conversion of my husband, healing and salvation of our marriage, and the strong faith of our son, the conversion of all sinners in our families and of the spouses being prayed for here by CAF members,**

and grant me the grace to accept His Will in all things,
through Jesus Christ, our Lord,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, forever and ever.

Amen.

Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us now and at the hour of our death.

My little Amber (age 10) goes away on a class trip tommorrow. She is still awake, and it is 11pm. She just took a tummy tablet, as she is anxious about her trip to Toronto’s Mideval Times.

You see, she is such a little mother to her little sister 15 months her jr. Shawntal is a nervous person, and usually things go well, but when they do not, she bee lines it for her sister.

Amber is afraid that Shawntal will have no back up plan tommorrow. I have assured her i am here, and i can go get her anytime she calls or is upset.

I am asking moms here to say a little prayer for her.

Thanks

Lana

That’s so sweet! I pray Amber’s anxiety is relieved and she can enjoy her trip without worrying about her sister.

Here I go into divorce court today with my wife. She has put me through the playbook of divorce schemes; stolen money, filed a bogus petition to have me removed from our home, refusal to pay any household bills, refusal to speak with me, etc. I have been suffering in silence for three months. I have been praying for three months for my wife. I pray that I make it through today. I pray that we are somehow brought together once again in love and not betrayal. I pray that God look over us today and show us a sign that all is not lost in our marriage and we can still make it through this sad time together.

Dear Half,

I will pray that Our Lord will turn things around for you, if it is His will. I’m so sorry to hear what you are going through. Many prayers are being said for you. Please keep us updated. God bless you and take care of you!

Thank you…she left all smiles this morning! As much as i tried to convince her that her souviner money was for herself, she still muttered, i can not get simply nothing for Shawny…she’ll be broken hearted seeing me with a treat!

sigh…smile!

Lana

Diana, you are heavy on my mind today…as well as all the brave women here…praying also for the job situation for hubby to find something so Mamma can stay at home with kiddies!

Oh my heart goes out to you Half…No marriage should ever see these things. So much hurt, so much pain and anger. If you truly love her still, and are helping and not fighting against things, and she is not happy…there is not much we can do for her but pray.

As for you, my heart bleeds for things like this. Usually it is the Man who will not commit…and this is only in my experience. I have met many online wonderful men who have proven to me that good men are still out there. It is hopeful for the much needed release of anger i held towards men in general. Not to any extent further than not believing in good intentions. Doubt always leads my wagon far from most.

Even my own husband. He is committed to us financially and in title. My problem is that he believes that is all that marriage is. So i am very very alone here, and although we are together, i live a very alone life, and rais my children on my own really.

I am so sorry, that it has come down to divorce court for you, especially with there only wanting her to be out of this commitment. God give you the strength to endure this trial.

Aw, what a sweet sister! Sounds like you’ve done a great job with your kids! 👍 🙂

I assume some of those prayers are for me :o 😊 thank you so much! I know I haven’t been around as much lately, I just feel like continuously posting my sadness at our unchanging situation doesn’t do any good, you know? Anyway, no job for DH yet, constant morning sickness still happening (but the medication I’m on helps). I feel like I’m not enjoying life to the fullest, and that saddens me. 😦

Hi M4T, hope you’re doing well. :hug1:

Prayers for everyone represented in this thread. :grouphug:

Ahhh, Bell dear…same ol, same ol is still a representation of what is a part of you and your day. To not be here is to not have a voice. Sometimes not having a voice can make things worse.

So voice it away, and then the more we can pray. It might not be the best of circomstances, but you are home are you not? This is not ideal, but it get’s your foot in the door.

Remember, everything you are going through includes a depletion of hormones, or rageing. Life pregnant means to ride the rollercoaster without paying the admitions to the ride. Are your vitamins up to par, and anything else you can do for this?

Willing to knock a thought or two around…

God Bless!

Lana

Am i right here, is it your wedding anniversary tommorrow ish?

5 years, 1.5 kids, and a husband who cares…Ahhhh, so beautiful. Please think of how awful this might feel if he did not give a hoot! See the light if you can…i know this is hard, as i have been there. Pregnancy blues hurt so deeply…a physical ache you can feel in your chest.

Dwell in the Well of what is before you…let it bring oxygen to the situation. I am praying for you, and Congratulations!

Thanks Lana (and everyone). Our anniversary is Saturday – and yes, I’m blessed with a very loving husband. I pray he’ll find the fullness of God’s love in Jesus’ glorious Catholic Church one day (soon…) so that we can worship together…

No, I’m not home – I’m still working full-time. It is very tiring physically (even though I sit at a desk all day  ) and very tiring emotionally being away from DD so much. :crying:

I know my problems are less than many others’, so I hesitate to post too much because I tend to complain too much! 😊 I have so much to be thankful for, but sometimes it’s easier to see what’s wrong, you know?

Anyway, God bless you all, praying for you again right now! :grouphug:

 You are at WORK, and SICK…OMGoodness! Now that is awful! I thought you were home, and without coverage. Oh my, now i see the deepening of the plight.

Pulling out the big guns…novena time for Bell…

off to go say the divine mercy novena for you…
Thank you!!!

Our health insurance is through my job – so until DH finds something that can cover our bills AND has benefits, I can’t stay home. 😦 I’m thankful we have insurance (100% of maternity/labor and delivery/hospital stay is covered, except for some co-pays for doctor’s appointments along the way) but it is draining. Not to mention I drive 60 miles round trip DAILY – so the time spent in the car and the money spent on gas is rough too! But again, at least we have an income and good insurance…I just wish God would lead us to something that would allow DH and I to flip flop, you know?

Praying for blessings for you and your family Lana (as well as all here). :grouphug:

Belle, I’m praying for you and for all the members here. I am also working full time, and I feel your pain. But like you I am also thankful to be able to provide for my family during this difficult time with my husband. He has some job prospects coming up this month, so I ask if any of you have a moment to spare, please pray that God will grant him confidence and peace to accept whatever transpires. 👍
I pray that we all have joy and faith, even in our darkest times!

MonicaRose, I’m sorry you know the same troubles as I do. I will put you and your family in my prayers too. Yes, a prayer for joy despite less-than-joyful circumstances would be great! :hug1:
