Novena day 7
Praying especially hard for you Mom! Hang in there! :console:Please, ladies, pray for me. I need support in trying to stay in this marriage and keep peace in my family. It is SO hard. God bless. You are all in my prayers.
Holding your son and his family close in continual prayer katy. May God be with him in all his efforts. If you could, remember my son and his wife in your prayers as well. There are small children involved, and he is the one holding things together in his case. He is at his wits end at the moment, as there seems nothing he can do to keep his family together.

About half an hour ago I got a text message from my husband, It said ‘I will try to forgive’
Well, after 6 weeks of abusive messages, that’s a change!
Thanks be to God!
Mom, I pray that God will lift you up with His loving arms and comfort you. Hold on tight to Him, He will never let you down.
How did I miss this yesterday? Jules, that’s wonderful! You’re right, prayers do work!Mom, praying for you. I went to the Divine Mercy mass today and on the programme, there was this beautiful prayer. I will type it out and post it here. It was so lovely.
We all just have to remember to trust in God, no matter how hard. Prayers do work…

Hi Dana, thank you for your prayers. Hope you’ll join our little group here in praying for our husbands and families. God bless!Hello Ladies.
I am praying for you all.
I chose St. Monica as my patron Saint. I don’t pray enough for my husband.
God bless.
Saw in your signature that you’re a mom to 8 – how wonderful! (I love the picture in your signature too and hope to buy it someday!)PRAYER TO ST. MONICA
Dear St. Monica,
troubled wife and mother,
many sorrows pierced your heart during your lifetime.
Yet, you never despaired or lost faith.
With confidence, persistence, and profound faith,
you prayed daily for the conversion
of your beloved husband, Patricius,
and your beloved son, Augustine;
your prayers were answered.
Grant me that same fortitude, patience,
and trust in the Lord.
Intercede for me, dear St. Monica,
that God may favorably hear my plea for
the conversion of ALL husbands, healing and salvation of ALL marriages,
and the strong faith of ALL our children.
and grant me the grace to accept His Will in all things,
through Jesus Christ, our Lord,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, forever and ever.
Amen.
Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us now and at the hour of our death.

Nikki, you don’t have to start the novena over. You can pray twice today or whatever – I don’t think St. Monica or Jesus would mind.Hi Ladies,
I forgot a day so I guess I need to start the novena over.
Can I please ask you ladies for prayers for my son? In addition to having speech issues, it has become obvious that he doesn’t hear well either. Please pray that the cause is easily treatable.
Sorry to bug you ladies but I don’t know many people who would be willing to pray.
Thank you,
Nikki

This happened to my son…we discovered that with tremendous fluid on his ears so much, that by removing the tonsils, adinoids, and placed tubes in his ears for drainage, the hearing improved, as did his speech.Hi Ladies,

They have them in our church – I don’t have any information about them but if you want me to ask my priest I can…Question…does anybody know about wireless headsets that are made for such a place. They say you can put them on, and any PA system comes in loud and clear through this.
You got it! Our priest is having surgery for a double hernia tomorrow, and I’ll be out of town this coming weekend, so I might not be able to get any info. this week, but I’ll try. Remind me if I forget!!Oh would you…that would be so very wonderful.
I have much frustration at church with the cathedral cielings, and ecco, even on best days!
I would love to hear anything you can on this. If it is off topic by then, you can always PM me or e-mail me…both are in my profile.
God bless you!
Lana
Belle, thank you for the novena info and the prayers. DS will be 5 in May. He is very difficult even for us to understand, and no one outside our family can understand him at all. We have been concerned about the speech for a while and hoped he would outgrow his difficulties, but instead he has gotten worse. And just in this past week, it has become obvious that he doesn’t hear us but actually reads our lips. I should have realized, I am ashamed that I missed it for so long.Nikki, you don’t have to start the novena over. You can pray twice today or whatever – I don’t think St. Monica or Jesus would mind.
Praying for your son now. :hug1: How old is he? I’m a bit concerned about our DD’s speech too…
Rammy, thank you for the prayers. My oldest son had this problem, the fluid in his ears was because he had back-to-back ear infections for the first two and half years of his life. When the fluid drained, he learned to speak. This son has never had an ear infection so I was not expecting these problems in him. I pray that his problem is also fluid or something equally simple. This happened to my son…we discovered that with tremendous fluid on his ears so much, that by removing the tonsils, adinoids, and placed tubes in his ears for drainage, the hearing improved, as did his speech.
I will keep him in my prayers…
Don’t beat yourself up hun…you did your best where resources were smaller. Tis not a sin if you were not aware. If the encouragement of a hearing specialist can find anything, than you are indeed very lucky. He must hear some thing, to read lips sounds impossible without some background on things and people.Belle, thank you for the novena info and the prayers. DS will be 5 in May. I will be praying for your DD. What about her speech concerns you?
Katy, thank you for your prayers also.
