Thank you for sending me that sweet message of hope for my family. I will pray it daily for conversion of my husband and son and daughter. May god bless you throughout this year and through this seaason of Mother’s Day.

A friend from Texas! Ann

Praying for you Diana and your family. Where are you? Please let us know how you’re doing! God bless you and keep you safe. Much love,

Galilea,
Thank You so much for that story. It proves Miracles happen through the persistance of prayer. Sometimes it is tempting to give up, but your story says it’s worth it. God bless you!

Yes indeed we need extra prayers for Diana and her family. She left here quite distraught, and truly sad over her situation. The best thing we can do is help her be strong for herself, then work on the rest. Don’t give up darlin!

Again the information is the same…posted here in the am of the 22 of April, went online at 10pm, but did not post. Has not been online even since that evening of the 22nd. That’s 5 days…

Tis such a lovely thread, this. I am so very glad to see women praying for their husbands.

Have enjoyed reading the stories as well.

Prayer to Saint Joseph for all sick husbands to find help.

O glorious St. Joseph,
friend of the Sacred Heart of Jesus,
thou whose power renders impossible things possible,
come to our aid in our present trouble and distress.
Take these important and difficult affairs
which we recommend to your protection,
that they may end happily.

O dear St. Joseph,
all our confidence is in you.
Let it not be said that we have invoked you in vain,
and since you are so powerful with Jesus and Mary,
show that your goodness equals power.

Amen.

St. Joseph, friend of the Sacred Heart of Jesus,
pray for us and for all who invoke your aid.

**PRAYER TO ST. MONICA

Dear St. Monica,
troubled wife and mother,
many sorrows pierced your heart during your lifetime.
Yet, you never despaired or lost faith.
With confidence, persistence, and profound faith,
you prayed daily for the conversion
of your beloved husband, Patricius,
and your beloved son, Augustine;
your prayers were answered.
Grant me that same fortitude, patience,
and trust in the Lord.
Intercede for me, dear St. Monica,
that God may favorably hear my plea for

the conversion of my husband, healing and salvation of our marriage, and the strong faith of our son, the conversion of all sinners in our families and of the spouses being prayed for here by CAF members,**

and grant me the grace to accept His Will in all things,
through Jesus Christ, our Lord,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, forever and ever.

Amen.

Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us now and at the hour of our death.

Hi everyone. Sorry I haven’t been around much – this all day morning sickness is taking its toll. 😦 Also, we’ve still had no word on whether DH got that job or not, so please, if you can, pray for us that he gets it – it would enable me to stay home, which I desperately need to do. :crying:

Praying for everyone here. :crossrc:

Belle:

I am praying especially hard that your husband gets that job. It would be so nice if you could stay home with the kids. God bless you!🙂

This is now a week for Diana…Please God keep her in your embrace!

Hello girls…i see you all keeping touch, and still praying…such a beautiful act of kindness and love.

I will keep praying you are not so sick, can stay home, and hubby gets the job you would need to make this all happen.

My hubby has to stay at the farm tonight as it is calling for frost, and this means we can loos part of our planted summer flower baskets. This is our Summer income, and if frost gets them, we loose out big time.

So he has to be there to turn on the sprinklers every hour or two all night long, and i pray he does not find reason to drink. He said he’d be a good boy…hehe…but only you here knows how much i pray for that.

Thank you ladies, for your prayers – you’re in mine as well. :grouphug:

Diana, hope you’re alright. :crossrc:

Good news, hubby came home at 1 am for some papers he needed…sober…excellent! You see, we live out in the country, so he figures there is nothing to hurt, or no one to catch him. He’s done it for his entire life. I explained, you mean you got away with it for this many years, and you just have not been caught.

However, it can happen. Here there is zero tollerance. One drink puts you over, and your liscence is suspended on the spot. If he were caught, and this taken from him, we would loose our business. You see, he is the ONLY driver for deliveries because he has been swindled a few times from previous drivers.

Sometimes the garden centers he delivers to pay in cheque, or at times cash. That one you can sign for, but if you are at market, you barter with other sellers and buyers. And he often had people say his prices were too steep. Yet the driver say, could not sell a thing, but barely got such and such for the plants.

This means he lied, and pocketed the difference. So after us loosing thousands on top of thousands, he took over the job himself…He is exhausted over the driving that begins at 1-4 am, depending on how far he has to travel. Then home at about 7pm.

So i pray common sense makes him understand, there is nothing to ever chance here. It means your job and livelyhood!

And for Diana, MIA for now 8 days, please know you are missed and we are praying for you and your family.

Lana:

I hope your husband comes to his senses - like I hope mine does! I will keep him in prayer, daily. They (our hubbies) can often be our “hairshirts”, as Fr. Corapi says -hee-hee. Keep up the prayers! You’re a special one! Much love,
P.S. I saw your post Re: Diana. I’m worried about her too:eek:!

Ooo, i love Father Carapi…but i have to admit, i have seen very little of his stuff, can you elaborate for me on the “hairshirts”.

I am guessing it has something to do with giving us grey hair!!

And yes, Diana and her deeply contemplative prayers for others in need are noticably not here. Like the little family that is here, we miss one while they are not here.

“NO MORE ROAD TRIPS” hehe…we love you all, just kidding!

Hi all,

I just came across this thread. I am a convert (2 years) and the only Catholics in my whole family are me and my 12 year old grandson. (So far!)

I have been married to a great guy (Scott) for almost 34 years.
I don’t ever talk about my faith to him. I know he wouldn’t be interested. Mostly I show him the utmost respect and love (though I put a green scapular under his side of the bed 🙂 ) I learned many years ago, that living my faith is the best way to show him my faith.

I will be adding my prayers to those in this thread.
