But of course Hawk had some. I mean she was juggling them as part of her act while flipping and rescuing her bike. Besides practicing for the triathlon she is always polishing up her act for the local circus. This is where her bike comes in so so handy.

The tightrope-riding-doughnut-juggling-back-flipping-Hawkmaid is the star attraction!
 
(Except really she’s just dazed and confused while she hands out popcorn)
Trident was sure missing that circus now as Boldly calmly led him closer and closer to the Bakery…that smelled suspiciously of sugar-coated critters…

Hawkmaid is far far too humble to admit to her act. I mean in between performances she puts on her striped outfit and sells popcorn at the concession so her hordes of fans won’t recognize her. She’s been doing this for years.

(And I’m not quite sure what a sugar-coated critter’s supposed to smell like, Hawk. Pls explain tyvm)

Trident H isn’t quite sure because one whiff of Boldly’s “natural musk” took out his nostrils for a good week.

But honestly Hawk’s had a secret she never really wanted to be known. She’s terrified of jelly beans.

Now you can imagine the problems she sometimes runs into working at the concession…? Oh it’s just all so tragic sometimes how fate plays its awful tricks 😦
 
Fate nothing, Trident’s nickname isn’t “Easter Bunny” for kicks and giggles!
 
But it’s Valentine’s Day. So all receive the treats of their choice, courtesy of Lilypadrees. All non-calorie, delicious and satisfying.

Well. I guess it’s up to me to keep this thread from going extinct.

So I’ll remind everyone of that time Lily and Hawk built that hot air balloon out of matchsticks and bubblegum wrappers. Boy was that ever a sight, hey? 😉
 
F_Marturana and her pet chihuahua, Tex, recently spent the day at the toboggan chute at the local park…made run after run, and had a great time…near the end of the day, they were tired of carrying the toboggan all the way up the hill [Tex did most of the work…], so they left it at the bottom of the hill, and used Tex’s skateboard for their last run…
Long story short, they had everyone in the park cheering as they soared down the chute, setting both speed and distance records with their run…they ended up in the snow bank at the far end of the parking lot, and it took the crowd almost an hour to dig them out…when the skateboard was recovered, the park officials disqualified them for using an ‘unauthorized’ toboggan…
 
Boldlygo is very fond of Tex. He dog-sits weekly and dresses Tex in mini superhero costumes.
 
Of course I’m fond of Tex…who wouldn’t like a chihuahua that looks like a knockwurst with short legs? Unfortunately, the only mini superhero costume that fits Tex is the ‘Blimpman’ outfit…[for those unfamiliar with ‘Blimpman’ - his superpower is the ability to hover over a villain and drop ‘stinkbombs’ until the villain is subdued…]…fortunately for F_Marturana, Tex isn’t capable of hovering…and he’s housebroken…
 
Boldlygo tried to get Tex to hover by attaching dozens of helium balloons 🎈 🎈 to his Blimpman costume. Tex got annoyed and bit a few of the balloons. The popping sounds startled him.
 
To soothe poor Tex’s frazzled nerves, F_Marturana made some Jiffy Pop popcorn so that Tex would always associate popping sounds with a treat.
 
Sadly that also attracted Trident and Boldlygo who ate all the popcorn before Tex even got a peek at it!
 
But then Tex, very intelligently, turned on his human’s phone. There was a YouTube video about popping popcorn and Tex decided to make his own.

He enlisted the aid of Hawkmaid7 who set up an air popper for Tex. Tex watched all those kernels become fluffy white corn and barked and danced as those fluffy white pieces bounced out of the air popper into the bowl of great delights. He happily munched his popcorn of many flavors deeming it the most perfect day evah.
 
Honestly that sounds amazing and I wish it wasn’t a lie XD

Fine. Well we all know that Hawkmaid’s the one who wrote out all the Swedish Chef subtitles. (Seriously read them. Well worth it!)

I mean I’ve gotta say your Swedish is amazing lol
