Speaking of Code Geass, do you guys like how Funianimation has released the series? It’s in three parts with each part encompassing two volumes. Cost wise, I like this better than individual volumes but I still like the individual box sets for each season. Hopefully, the series will be slowly released in box sets like Fullmetal Alchemist was. I wish I had the money to afford it in either format but that’s another story…
 
Still hoping for Ginga Densetsu Weed to become legal to watch. Sorry I’m a dog-lover lol.

I just watch some DBZ (yeah I know I was bashing it earlier) and I’m thinking about watching the movies where they fight Brolly, assuming I can get ahold of them. Although some content with DBZ I don’t agree with.
 
I own the special Limited Edition boxsets for Code Geass, so…I’m hiiiighly pleased with them, as well as the ton of extras. I mean, like, WOW

What peeves me is how they did R2. 7 episodes in 3 parts, with 4 episodes leftovver for a half-set part 4.

I wasn’t aware that it was Funimation, though…?
 
:mad:Ok, now I’m kinda upset. I just found out that Omega Shenron in Dragonball GT is named “Mr. Satan” in japanese. Now I don’t think I will ever watch an episode of Dragonball again.
 
I’m getting a little annoyed with some of the Maison Ikkoku characters, but the result of watching so much anime is that I now have Japanese in my head. To the point of translating American songs.

Currently watching just TOO many series at once. I need to finish GaoGaiGar so I can get back to Inu Yasha.

Dude, seriously now you’re just grabbing at straws… It’s really hard to believe you’re not joking when you say things like that.

It reminds me of that Simpsons episode where Flanders was like “I’m as permissive as the next parent. I mean, just yesterday I let Todd buy some red-hots with a cartoon devil on the box!”

Hey it’s Tuesday over here and we had a holiday yesterday. Being as it’s the first school day of the week, we’re all pretty busy right now.

But all right, I’ll bite. Your style has potential. However, the way you present your message is (and seriously, don’t take this the wrong way) pretty Jack Chick-ish. Put some depth, don’t be too blunt. That’s a way to tell a message.

With that in my, this might interest everyone especially Eagelswings. Here is a website (comic Natalie) which shows Mori Kaoru sensei (of Victorian Romance Emma fame) in the process of making an illustration. These are 6, 5-7 minute videos that shed light to the amazing work of mangakas.

To be honest, I was blown away by her masterwork when I watched the videos. 👍

Thanks everyone. You know it did cross my mind to do cartoons to counter Jack Chick’s but I feel I am better at defending the unborn than defending the church (although I should probably try to do so because it is Christ’s church).

I based my cartoon off of this welll known picture.

Hey guys, I have a question. What’s your take on anthropomorphs? I think they’re cool. I’ve drawn some before which some of you have seen. Why I’m asking is because they are often related to manga. Another reason is because I look on DA and I see some that are kinda cool whereas others are absolutly disgusting. What do you think?

I like the drawing, personally. There’s a place for bluntness, especially when it’s many Catholics’ inability to confront real issues that allows this pro-abortion Catholic sub-culture to exist.

The picture is actually okay because it is an artistic political cartoon. For instance, notice how the artist depicts God as in God from that Renaissance painting.

Yours was just a tad bit… plain. No offense but that’s the other thing about Jack Chick that offends me. His simple-minded, childish approach to giving his message.

P.S.

Regarding Jack Chick, I actually have tons of plot bunnies parodying his tracts but they’re probably a bit too… risque for you. :rolleyes:
