The FMA: Brotherhood Openings have some spoilers on it

I´m reading the manga too

Happy Resurrection Easter!!!

:):)🙂

Hey guys. I’m looking at itunes for anime but there selection is limited. Is there any sites I can get anime legally?

Completely off topic and just for kicks: IT’S OVER NINE THOUSAAAAAAND!!!11111 😃

Holy cow, I thought the spoilers in the new *FMA: B *opening were bad, the new *Bleach *opening gives away everything!

The only good thing is that the Third Espada’s, cough, outfit isn’t as bad is it is in the Manga

Even though I don’t like Bleach because of some of the content it has, I will admit this guy is pretty cool.

I can’t believe that the first half of that final battle saga was all a rehash! Now, it’s another week till Ichigo fights Ulquiorra and the others fight the others. Too bad most of the best fighters were left in Hollowland (I forget the real name).

Is Naruto ok for christians to watch?
Hmmm, there was a thread about Naruto some days ago in this same section

Maybe you can share what things you don´t like to watch?

People have different degrees of tolerance to the same content

Blessings !!!

Pagan stuff, presented by a mostly pagan culture from where the stuff came, is what it is. Catholic-theme stuff from a mostly pagan culture irritates me, as it’s usually misrepresenting what we believe as Catholics to the world.

That’s not it either. Naruto is a fantasy shounen which pretty much promotes the standard values of teamwork, friendship, responsibility etc. It’s the toilet humor in it that I fear would turn the likes of Eagel off.

Regardless, it’s a good series. The recent chapters have even expanded from the standard shounen values cited above and talk about things like the tragedy of war, redemption, and just how far blind vengeance can corrupt someone.

As for Catholicism being depicted in anime, I’ll take a picture of the Church that fights demons and vampires using silver bullets and holy weapons than another serving of crude, American sit-com humor that mocks the outdated stereotype of pedophile priests and Jesuit/Opus Dei assassins.

I guess Japanese misrepresenting the Church less an insult than Western filmmakers doing so, because we have so much given us with the Faith, thanks to our ancestors accepting the Apostles or their successors’ teachings and developing it over centuries.

Toilet humor in Naruto? I caught one small bit and I never saw any. Then again it was on Cartoon Network. Anyway what’s with that fox thing?

Don’t watch the English dub! The whole thing is a complete and total BLASPHEMY! Trust me, the original has tons of toilet humor. If you’re actually willing to deal with that however, you won’t be disappointed (though you might wanna skip the fillers for the most part).

As for the fox (more popularly known by its Japanese name Kyuubi), it’s basically a powerful demon manifested as a powerful formation of chakra. It’s one of the legendary tailed beasts (a.k.a. Bijuu). There are nine in total with their strength corresponding to the number tails they possess. The Kyuubi, since it possesses nine tails, is obviously the most powerful of them all.

There’s actually more to the bijuu in the latest Shippuuden arcs but I’ll stop here now to prevent spoilers.
