I saw the rest of FMA: Brotherhood, from the time Cartoon Network stopped to go to the beginning. It was very entertaining, though I don’t care for the "God (well, God, as called such in their world, but as an allegory for God, since Almestris (sp?) seems to be a Western land) was fabricated by insecure man, so do your own will talk. They should be open to the idea of some knowledge higher than that of natural processes, having seen what they saw.
I liked the rest of Inuyasha too, as a story.
 
If only we had the reverence for Christ that Jaken of Inuyasha has for Sesshomaru. We let too much go, but our culture raises us to turn Christ’s cheeks, though they’re not ours. We don’t stand up much for him, but we even talk trash about him, despite he was perfect (much unlike Inuyasha being an understatement), so the world finds it easy to disrespect him.
We’re also much like the flea character, Miyogi (sp?) (running when things get scary).

Actually, I think Jaken has more of a servile fear of Sesshomaru—it’s Rin who loves him as a father figure and protector.

That’s an interesting little family group there, though. And you’re right, we don’t stand up enough for Him. One of the EWTN priests today said, in his homily, that humility doesn’t mean we have to be doormats.
 
Well, I think he is more in awe of Sesshomaru. He chose Sesshomaru and could have left at any time and, at least in the beginning, at least, probably wouldn’t have been missed. He does fear angering Sesshomaru in his presence, though. I’m not sure how many of us even fear angering God. God is still prophesied to bring us a chastisement after having been offended enough. That fear is a beginning and most today haven’t even begun, so skipping to the happy to have family around slant may reflect a culture where parents who don’t want to offend their adult kids and so they support them in their sins, going so far to go to illicit and invalid marriages. This God loving us out of sins doesn’t work for those not having a fear of God. People infer God as the permissive dad and no wonder no one respects Him. Our leaders haven’t given them a reason to. How many hard truths do they lay on us? How many hear the warnings of Fatima at Mass? Where’s the magic of the Mass in the emo ego-friendly get-together on Sunday in the uninspiring Mass buildings with sing-along songs and chummy chats from the MC/priest? Will people, then, hate God when a chastisement comes?

Outside the animesphere, we’re more like Olive Oyl.
 
After seeing Eagelswings chuck out drawing after drawing, I will get back to drawing once again. 😃

exoflare, I drew it on cardstock and I scanned it. Then I used Artweaver, a free program, to color it.

Foolishmortal, what was that thing? lol.
 
Winnie the Pooh would sometimes say something is a bother, as does the hommunculus, Sloth, from Full metal Alchemist. The picture poster saw this too. I wonder if there was a coincidence? If not the writer of the work, the translator might have been a Winnie the Pooh fan.
 
I like how at least two people have already rated this thread down for no reason. 😛

Probably people who didn’t even look at the thread, never watched an anime in their life, and the type of person who actually thinks stuff like “all anime is porn” :rolleyes: (yes, these people really do exist!)
 
Do you think some are working from inside the States, but branching overseas, to bring about a greater abomination via abortions and other spilling of unborn blood? Do you think there could be some occult design this activity is organized along, like in FMA?
