I’ve been really hyperactive and unproductive. Tends to happen after I reach a certain threshold of despair.

If I’m hyperactive, I am too productive…just not in areas I should be.

I have been working 6 hours per day. I am returning to school next week though. Churches aren’t allowed to hold services with more than 10 people (and they have been forced to close from March). Lock down was officially lifted today but Catholic churches won’t be having public Mass due to the 10 person restriction.

I find it strange that my school (which has around 1700 students) is allowed to open but the government won’t allow Mass to be publicly celebrated with more than 10 people.

That is unfortunate. I’m going to try to go to Mass tomorrow, because we’re still dispensed from our Sunday obligation , and I would rather be in the church during Mass, and not in the Hall, but that way I can actually go to Mass. (Less people on a weekday Mass) actually have a job interview Monday

I’m 31, a guy. I like playing guitar and reading. Love music and movies.

I’m a convert to Catholicism. Was raised Lutheran. I like discussing different forms of media and politics.

Today is Friday, the last weekday before I go back to school after about 2 months away on Monday.

It’s going to be very different from how I’ve been living since mid-March.

This is a cool thread.

Hello, I’m a Journalism and Japanese student. I’m usually very busy and it’s difficult for me to fall asleep when I have work stress, so I usually just get by with catnaps and working more, which thus continues the cycle. 😅
As for hobbies I enjoy drawing, (I’m actually making a Webcomic) video games and reading. I’m trying to learn guitar but I have no free time to do so.
I’m from the midwest, and I’m currently attending Uni there.
I was raised Catholic, but left the Church when I was a teen. I recently came back to the faith.
I’m bad at intros can you tell.

I hope you’re all having a decent day.

I’ve lived in four different states, and went to like 20 some odd different schools. You can kind of hear in my speech that I was not really raised in the midwest or the South, but kind of both. I should probably point out, that I guess it makes sense that people always think I’m from a military background when I tell them I’ve moved so many times, nope neither of my parents were in the military. To be fair, it was mostly moving back and forth

Mom’s family is mixed Midwestern and southern, so because Grandma and Grandpa moved back and forth between the two, because grandma was from the south, we tended to move where they went. I moved back to the South permanently in 2001, because my grandma and grandpa came back down here to take care of my great grandma. My mom has lived in even more places than I have, including Texas and California, and my mom has a little bit of a Los Angeles accent, which to me sounds like a flat Midwestern accent.

That’s so cool! I was a Journalism student myself, but I hated it (sorry) and transferred to Political Studies after my first year.

Are you planning on combining them, or will your journalistic work be only in English? If so, what do you intend to do with a Japanese language degree? Or is it just for fun?

Strange thing is that in the UK, a relatively small island, there are probably hundreds of different accents—easily more than in the US.

Three of my grandparents were English…and they all had different accents!
