That’s so cool! I was a Journalism student myself, but I hated it (sorry) and transferred to Political Studies after my first year.I’m a Journalism and Japanese student.
Strange thing is that in the UK, a relatively small island, there are probably hundreds of different accents—easily more than in the US.Mom’s family is mixed Midwestern and southern, so because Grandma and Grandpa moved back and forth between the two, because grandma was from the south, we tended to move where they went. I moved back to the South permanently in 2001, because my grandma and grandpa came back down here to take care of my great grandma. My mom has lived in even more places than I have, including Texas and California, and my mom has a little bit of a Los Angeles accent, which to me sounds like a flat Midwestern accent.
