What is the truth?
The truth is that being gay is not a sin, but the lifestyle is. And, I am so sorry, but my dealings with homosexuals tell me that they are far from altruistic. The Gay Pride movement isn’t about equality, it’s about indulging on government funds to use to promote and support their licentious lifestyles…

I know that is the claim, but reading comments on these forums contradicts that claim.

Re-drawing the line?

I doubt that most of their “specal-interest” legislation would be necessary if people went by their beliefs and morality.

Yes, yes I know about that.

Something had to happened, because homosexuality isnt a mental illness. Its more of a neruological issue than a psycological issue, so they were right to declasify it as a mental illness.

What truth?

All I see is “How dare they want to have rights”, “how dare they want job protection”, “how dare they not want to be called names and be abused”, “how dare they want to be treated as equals”.

Where is the truth?
The truth is as it always was.

Homosexuals already have every right guaranteed to the rest of us. That’s not what they want, any more than feminists wanted equal pay for equal work.

They bullied a bunch of weak APA reps into re-classifying, WITHOUT EVIDENCE, their mental illness, just as they are today bullying weak school boards into caving to their demands for introducing mandatory lessons in perverse sexual practices to four-year-olds.

I live in San Francisco and am actually a native (not too many of us left) – we are surrounded by gays. A number of years ago a “gay” person moved into the house across the street – we would NEVER have known he was gay but he put up the BIGGEST rainbow flag you ever saw --when I first saw it I didn’t know what it was but my husband “filled” me in – then the guy was absolutely astonished when someone put a rock through his window. Some time ago I went downtown on a Sunday and there was apparently some type of gay program going on – it was absolutely unbelievable – they were “all over” each other on the street cars, on the streets, etc. – I don’t particularly like that type of behavior by anyone and was totally flabbergasted on that particular day.

Last time I checked homosexual acts are damnable sins, if unrepented before for death, and anyone that promotes or leads people to them are cooperating in evil. :o

Just my :twocents:

What “dealings” are you talking about?

Well thank you for the completly impartial (name removed by moderator)ut.

What that some people are intollerant and hide that intollerance behind other things?
Homosexuals already have every right guaranteed to the rest of us.
Did you have a straight face when you wrote that?

Let me guess, they actually want to subvert the world into some sort of femo-gay world where they hunt hetrosexual males for sport, like some sort of send up of the Planet of the Apes.
They bullied a bunch of weak APA reps into re-classifying, WITHOUT EVIDENCE, their mental illness
Without evidence?

There is no evidence supporting homosexuality as a mental illness. Its not a mental illness because it doesnt fit the criteria and what exactly did these insidious bullies get the APA to reclasify homosexuality as?

Maybe you should check again.

Homosexual acts are a sin; it is also one of the Four Sins Crying to Heaven for Vengeance. It could also be considered a Sin against the Holy Spirit. Any sin that is not repented is damnable.
Nine Ways of being Accessory to Another’s Sin

By counsel-talking one into sin
By command-telling one to sin .
By consent- agreeing with the sin
By provocation- to pressure one into sin
By praise or flattery- congratulating the sin committed by others
By concealment- covering up the sin for another
By partaking- approving sin by assisting in it
By silence-by not speaking up against the sin
By defense of the ill done- rationalizing the sin done or will be done

How nice for you that you can laugh at the rest of us, who are trying to protect the souls of our children, and yes, even the souls of the homosexuals you claim to support.

I wasnt laughing at the rest of you, just that comment.

I dont think that you are “protecting” anyone with over reactions like that, or other such comments.

They are hardly ‘overreactions,’ and I never claimed to be unbiased.

No human being is unbiased. I am heavily biased in favor of Catholic teachings, and those include protecting the innocent from evil and perversion.

I wouldnt make any such accusation of unbias.

Thats all well and good, but I just dont see that being done.

I am sorry, but it is a little bit hard to be impartial when one has been constantly hid on by members of his own gender. Those aren’t ALL of my dealings with homosexuality by far, but they are the ones that stick with me. I won’t get into the minor details.

Of course, being attracted to someone of the same gender is not bad. It’s when you get into the lifestyle (intercourse, I don’t know why we call it a lifestyle), which is really self-destructive, that becomes a problem, to the gay person and those who surround them. It’s bad enough that we’ve got people like Ann Coulter around (whom I don’t beleive is actually a Christian) who inspire the paranoia of gayness. And I am still unclear.

So:
  1. Being gay is A.O.K.
  2. Actually having homosexual intercourse, no matter what um… preferences one might have, is amoral and sinful. It is only done to achieve orgasm… which is contrary to the beliefs of the Church.
  3. Gay bashers are committing evil sins that are just a wrong (or worse) as mentioned in #2.

Constantly?

Have you ever been hit on by members of the opposite gender?

Sounds like you have had some bad experiences with some individuals, you are not the only one (I was sexually harrassed at work by a member of my own gender, it wasnt pleseant).

But you cant allow the actions of individuals dictate how you feel about the group. If we did that, where would that get us?

I dont think that your “suitors” were deliberatly trying to distress you.

Are you suggesting that she supports homosexuality, or opposes it (Sorry Its not clear to me)?

Personally I dont agree with the lifestyle (not being gay and all), but I dont think that they deserve this persicution that they get.

I don’t think that innocent heterosexual people, especially CHILDREN, deserve the persecution they get from the homosexual activist crowd.

You see, we do agree… Ann Coulter is supporting homosexuality, but not consciously… she gives the homosexual advocates more to work on with all of her hate. And she certainly doesn’t discourage gay bashing.

I WAS almost constantly hid on… until I moved. That wasn’t why I moved, but it was a relief. (Yes, I am hid on by females, but that’s besides the point… it’s bad enough when you aren’t attracted to those people!)

The lifestyle is self-destructive because it separates the individual from God, and in many cases their families. Again, there’s more to it than that.

I never meant to infer that you were not, I was just curious as to how constant.

It does make you uncomfortable to be hit on by another manand certainly makes things akward in general (the first time it happened to me I was more than a little “shook up”).

There is more to it. Like is it the lifestyle or the families pre-concieved ideas that seperates or is the family or the homosexual that forces the seperation?

There is a heck of a lot more to it.
