The Muslims are Coming

At the college I attend there are so many Muslim women in burkas that if I didn’t know I was in America I would assume that I was in one of the more Muslim countries in the Middle East (and I’ve been there). In my whole life, I’ve never seen so many women in burkas in America. There are large groups of them everywhere on campus, and many of them are in full burkas which only show the eyes. I’m not going to lie. When I see the burka, I think “serious Muslim”. When I think “serious Muslim”, I think “how serious?”. Because, statistically, the more serious about Islam a Muslim is the more of a chance there is that they could be an extremist or be connected to one. The secular Muslims are the ones that I’m not worried about. But things have definitely changed since Obama has been in office and since the government has been going out of its way to welcome Muslims here. So, yeah. I have no choice but to live with it.
Statistically burka wearing Muslim women, and Muslim women in general, are a non threat. The overwhelming vast majority of extremists who engage in violent actions are men. So overwhelming that an attack carried out by a woman, let alone a burka wearing woman, gains international media attention.

Also, do you really think a Muslim woman (regardless of what she is wearing) at an American university is really a potential extremist? We are talking about an extremism that falls on the far, far, right-side of the spectrum (i.e. individuals that think educated/independent women are “bad.”).

So, your saying I’m wrong? I guess. If history doesn’t present an argument for the truth I’m not sure what will.
Here’s a nice vid for you to enjoy.

What truth, the Crusades were a badly executed military plan, they reverted to cannibalism in Syria after killing 40 thousand., and were foolishly defeated by a better CO. And after all those utter failures they lost the Holy Land, lost the Rock. That’s an utter disaster. And they want to now cry about Christians murdered in the middle-east? Don’t get started on America and their military plight either. Did you watch the film of the guy that earned the MOH? Who ever designed and planned that PB ought to be court martialed and sent to Leavenworth to break rocks for the rest of his life. And true to reality the fellow now carries a pistol in his home and to bed, welcome home! His mind will follow the body in about another 3-decades.

And now as astonishing as it is, after all that murder and havoc, we should ask, do we have a problem? Yes we do. and sitting around with ours heads in the sand doesn’t help. And we should wonder, “why” ignorant people are playing “be a muslim for a day” and running around with make shift IEDs the next year?

This is “why” I think people need to get outside here and interact, we can’t shield ignorant people from Islam converting, or from doing stupid things. The garden is gonna weed itself as usual. And as usual those who refuse to pay attention to those who actually “know” well. that’s another well known chapter in history.

The bottom line is you cannot have it both ways. Your either going to live with these people just as the Pope states and as America freedom indicates, or you need to come up with a new ideal for America.

But what you cannot do is teach hate and avoid them. Or act like your living the Popes message and avoid them and teach paranoid fear under the premise of Christian love. That’s a recipe for disaster. And that is the path they were on and are adjusting now. So too does Christian America and the remainder of America need to adjust.
In the video from your original post, Dean Obeidallah says he found that people in the South and West were asking him why there weren’t more Muslims speaking out against terrorism after 9/11. And he says he was surprised by this. “People ask why don’t more Muslims denounce terrorism? We heard this everywhere, 10, 11 years after 9/11. Are you kidding me?”
Is he kidding us? He must not understand the effect 9/11 had on our country.

Why would we expect anything from muslims? I don’t expect a thing from them. How ever I like the idea that they are bringing their thin skinned selfs out here, in this what is good for the goose is good for the gander situation. Why is it that I should be offended? I don’t find them to be a mystery.

Are you saying you find this offensive in our land of freedom of speech? Be it they tell the truth or not really isn’t the point. The idea that they are coming out here opens a whole new door.

Do I think they could possibly be an extremist? Did anyone (besides Russian President Putin who tried to warn us about it) suspect that the Boston bombers would do what they did? The Boston bombers were young college students in America, and everyone they knew thought they were harmless. Some girls were even infatuated with one of the bombers (even after the bombing). I agree that usually Muslim women aren’t suicide bombers (although sometimes they are). But where there are the women the men are usually not far away. And if the woman is serious about Islam her man most likely is, too.

You should take all of them as serious. Be it they are or not. Truth be told they appear to be more serious than us. The idea that we should just ignore them and hope they go away, that’s not gonna happen.

By now they think this will be easy. And I can see why.

I’m not really sure what you’re point is, but my point is that this man talks about 9/11 as though it’s ancient history and we should all move on. Well, guess what, a comedy show with Muslims telling jokes isn’t really my idea of something that helps people forget about a national tragedy.

I have a deep love for my Muslim brothers and sisters. “LOVE your neighbor as yourself.”
Love your neighbor as yourself but be wise and know what they believe. It is contrary to the Christain faith. Read the new book by Robert Spencer regarding this at Catholic Answers. Important to read.

Yes, yes I do. Any woman that wears a Burkha in a western country is showing where her allegiances are. That’s a big middle finger to the west and Christianity. She sides with Saudi Arabia and Al Qaeda, not with the west.

Everyone did move on its over 12-years ago. If you take it personal and would like to continue to stick it in their face, then you live in America and have that right. They live in America also and have the absolute right to freedom of speech. The same freedoms you uphold as an American? The same freedom you insist you have? What right do you have to suggest they shouldn’t speak and what they should say? You mean that same double standard some muslims suggest that no one can speak about Mohammad? How about that sore looking double standard? Or you don’t care about their American feelings do you? So how about we ban any talk about the prophet and every time you mention his name you can chant PBUH? “Its too sensitive for them” Not so warm on that idea are you. So why can’t they speak about “whatever” they want in America. Oh its too sensitive for you, you mean like Mohammed talk is for them?

Next you’ll be telling me “Oh its unfair because Christians are scared to talk about them”.

And that is my point. Do you get it now?

And that gets a big SO WHAT in the land of the Free. I can ride around with a KKK Cape if I so choose then why can’t they ride around with a KKK Cape if they so choose.

Again you relating just as the above posters about “Its unfair and I don’t like it”. Right, they “know” you don’t like it. They don’t care what you like, they don’t care what I don’t like about the 1-million abortions yearly here in this country either. But I’m not whining about its unfair and they don’t acknowledge my feelings with that blood bath they call legal either.

The fact you don’t like what they are doing in the land of the free where they have every right to do so means what? Your having issues with America! You can’t have it both ways.

You have to understand im a bible catholic. What Thomas Jefferson wrote 300 years ago, what George Washington wrote 300 years ago, I dont really care about that. I care what the bible, and the church of the bible says. The catholic teaching is that the state has the ability, in fact the responsibility, to suppress the public practice of false religions. Also the state has the right to stop outright the practice of dangerous/violent cults. Salafi Islam fits the category. They have NO God-given right to practice a violent sect ANYWHERE. Dont confuse religious tolerance with religious liberty. Religious liberty is NOT a Catholic idea.

You should know that Robert Spencer like his close friend Pan Gellar are in a word speaking for American Freedoms. What Catholics in particular need to do is reconcile how Robert Spencers message coincides with the Pope. Do a search on Robert Spencer here. And what you will find is “me” defending him while Catholc’s wanted to rake me and him through the coals. Talking about Islamphobia.

How ironic it a short few months I hear this Robert Spencer chant trotted out as if its a new revelation. The problem with this point of yours is Robert and Pam promote American Freedoms the same one that so many suggest Islam should be refused. Well here you can get to reading Atlas Shrugs by Pam. And btw it was just a few months ago the Catholic Church postponed Spencer in Worcester Mass from speaking. “Too controversial” they didn’t want to stir the pot and upset Islam. Well again you can’t have it both ways here. And just a few short weeks later the Boston bombing occurred! In fact the bombing occurred while I was arguing that thread for Spencer. But everyone thought Spencer was a paranoid “loon”.

Throwing out terms like Islamaphobia glosses over the very real issues of Sharia and the silence of the majority of the “peaceful” Islamists. As we denounce those of the “Christian” persuasion who demonstrate acts of evil, it isn’t being intolerant to expect that those of Islam wouldn’t denounce the actions of the growing terrorists organisations and their media strongmen at CAIR.
It isn’t being intolerant to point out the facts and wonder where the “reasonable” of the Islam faith are. Their silence is defeaning.

Right, well that’s another favorite over here depending on who your talking to and what day it is. And then they get real slick on you and trot out the CCC and 841 as if I don’t own the Catechism and haven’t read it.

And is astonishing as it is, then we hear just like on this thread about the ignorant Catholics and Christians playing “muslim for a day” at their local University. Now you are starting to understand “how” this foolishness occurs.

Don’t forget the “good muslims” You could never forget those good muslims here I assure you. The problem here is no-one knows who they are or where they live, but everyone claims to know a few. I say Amen to that. But we need to protect America’s freedoms and to that you hear the next chant “Are you Catholic first or American first”😉

Yup all predictable. I’m a Catholic/American realistic thinker.

And Islam does not care about you. They are embracing what you don’t care about and using it to enslave you.

What violent sect btw Catholic Crusades and your double standard?

You need to take your personal crusade to Washington DC and let me know how you make out. We have what’s called here separation of Church and State. And through that separation all religious freedom and freedom of speech is protected.

And Islam doesn’t believe in the Bible., Jesus Christ being God, so you have a lot of work to do.

The Crusades were glorious and may God elevate the souls of each and every Crusader. These were heroes who traveled thousands of miles to defend Christians they had never met, had different backgrounds, and differences races and ethnicity. I have the upmost respect for them.

And I dont care what America has. Is separation of church and state in the bible? No. Is it part of Catholic teaching? No.

And yes Islam blasphemes the bible, which makes it paganistic. It blapshemes the Lord Jesus Christ, which makes it an anti-christ religion. They must be converted.

I’ll follow the lead of Bl John Paul II. LOVE and respect of the Muslim faith.

Amazing how history tends to repeat itself. The Templers were formed to protect those taking pilgrimage to the Holy Lands. The protections were needed. How many church bombings, stonings of Christians and the like that aren’t being reported on will it take before the all encompassing tolerant one will see Islamic extremists and their supporters for what they are. The Jihad is a holy war, and we are at war and the complacent don’t want to see it. There are just too many Neville Chamberlains out there. Isn’t it amazing how Persia changed their name to Iran (Aryan) to make nice with the Nazi’s. Funny how they never changed their name back. Face, the Iranian supporters of the Jihad are Nazi’s and need to be combatted.

The Crusaders were losers, murderers and cannibalism was in full effect. Not in the Bible.

And America could care less about your radical ideals just like Islam could care less.

And there is no conversion coming you should actually read Light of the World by Benedict XVI, its unrealistic as he states.
