So let’s analyze John Bolton

I doubt one can honestly discredit John Bolton at all.

His only discredit is avoiding the Vietnam War by joining the Maryland Air National Guard.

You’re right, the practical impact will almost certainly be zero. Most people are not undecided on trump. There just aren’t that many people who are willing to be swayed at this point. I was just pointing out that saying “well, he has bad views on policy” doesn’t mean he’s lying about this stuff.
 
Yep. Similarly, I question the “undecideds” in the next election. Is anyone really undecided about whether they will vote for Trump or Biden, at this point? What is unknown is who shows up to vote. I am sure there are a few who still aren’t sure who they’ll vote for, but after 8 years of the Obama presidency with Joe, and 4 years of Trump, is anyone still “getting to know” the candidates???
 
Yup. It’s about turnout. I suspect most of the enthusiasm for Biden is really just anti-Trump. Most people aren’t particularly stoked about Joe: they just want Not Trump.

Well, sure you can. He didn’t get his way because Trump is not a traditional Washington insider. He didn’t like it, so he wrote a he said he said book.
Oh, and we’re not in a new war in the Middle East

And I remember the majority of Republicans and Conservatives supporting the Iraqi war debating that it was a just war, etc. And if I remember correctly, the same Trump supporters here were supporting the Bush Administration’s effort in Iraq.
 
That doesn’t exclude Bolton from responsibility. How many died in Iraq? More than a million for sure. And for what? For PNAC’s vision of world leadership. Pathetic.

I’ll take a guy who made some misogynistic jokes and is racially insensitive over a mass murderer.

Bolton was not the Mass Murderer. Bush #43 was. Bush had free will and choices. But ultimately it was the decisions made by Bush and his Congress and his Senate.

And looking at the wiki link, Bolton was a nobody at the time the article was created, evidenced by a lack of a link for his name.

Bolton reminds me of a two-year old who throws a tantrum because he doesn’t get his own way. I would call this a revenge book. Most tell-all books are.
