Why would someone want you to change the name of your organization when even if the name were changed they wouldn’t want to be part of it?I don’t understand why anyone thinks we need to change our name. Columbus is our namesake, and the people “offended” by that decision don’t seem to be the kind who would desire to associate with us were we called something else.

Hardly, with the number of wars the US has had its hand in both at hone.and abroad - the ones since WWII mostly being unesolved stalemated messes.Driving around Henderson New York I saw a Public history marker/sign that read “Samuel de Champlain, First white man to enter Henderson,October, 1615, passed over Indian trail here.“ I wondered how long it will be before some thug tries to nail that sign.
My thought is that Knights of Columbus shouldn’t entertain changing the name.
