Well, I recall this article about Co2 levels. Seems they are going down significantly in the US.

Much to the surprise (and, one suspects, the chagrin) of the deranged doomsaying wing of the environmental movement, new forecasts of US CO2 emission are out and they point to an even steeper drop than the last set of predictions.
No cap and trade, no huge new taxes on oil, no draconian driver restrictions, no air conditioning bans, no rationing — and the US is on track to cut its CO2 emissions 17 percent below the 2005 levels by 2020 — and to keep cutting our emissions levels beyond that.
And this news doesn’t come from embattled climate skeptics banished to the fringes of the scientific community; these numbers come from the Obama administration and are sitting right up on Don Lashof’s well respected blog at the National Resource Defense Council website. Take a look for yourselves.
So, to summarize, the United States of America basically blew the global greens off completely, trampling all over their carbon tax and cap and trade agendas, and earning wails and shrieks of hatred at the Rio+20 Summit — while making huge strides toward reducing CO2 emission levels.
It’s almost as if there is no connection between the green policy agenda and environmental progress…

The Reduction of CO2 emissions in the US are the result of a few factors, but a major one is the elimination of manufacturing facilities in the US, as they are now in China, with the highest amounts of CO2 emissions. Add to that, cars are more efficient, but also, people are driving less because of the economy. Also, fossil fuel energy plants have shut down or were converted to cleaner forms of energy.

There is also benefit from government policies to reduce CO2 emissions, buy putting regulations into place 20 years ago, in opposition from the same nay-sawyers who deny extreme global climate changes we see today.

You provided opinion as to the cause being a hoax. I could easily provide opinions showing AGW is fact and caused by man. So what? It’s still opinion and I’m not on either side of the issue as far as the cause is concerned.

However, only a person who is in complete denial or blind will deny that the earth isn’t going through a global climate change event.

Will you even admit that the Polar Ice Cap has declined ?

If not, I challenge you to look at the satellite photos from NASA website and deny that their isn’t a difference in the size of the ice cap.

As I explained, we’re not sure of the cause, whether it’s mankind causing it or not, scientist just aren’t all convinced conclusively one way or another.

However, as I also stated, it still makes a better planet to reduce our air pollution. There is no denying this fact.

60F weather with rain here in Oregon during the month of June. I guess GW just happens in the Mid-west in the summertime.
 
Today is in the mid to low 80’s.
Yesterday we were down below 80 for a few hours.

The weather maps still show my area to be in the upper 90’s.

I believe this is likely due to the weather service taking their temperature from the tarmac of the local airport.

Of course, I am sure the data (false data) will be used to further the cause of whatever climate change is popular at the time.

The other main solution proposed to AGW is contrary to Catholic Teaching. Population control, which includes promotion of ABC, sterilization, abortion, even genocide is top on the list. Which is all the more ironic because the promoters of AGW solutions are always screaming about the 'millions who will die due to a hotter planet" when the truth is that they want all those millions to die. To them, these ‘millions of useless breathers’ are the problem.

If your average medium-sized dog has a larger carbon footprint than an SUV, think about all the people - and they do…

Actually I don;t think they are saying that a warm summer is somehow proof of global warming but that these sort of summers will become more common with global warming. That the more extreme weather we see in some parts of the world now will become more and more common. And a cold winter is nothing in the sense that a cold winter doesn;t disprove global warming. There is always going to be short term variablity.

That’s the national USA average for the three months of summer. That data is too narrow to show climate change caused by global warming.

However, the warmest temps for the entire year on the entire planet, are 2010 as NASA and NAOA recorded.

Here in the Far East, the idiocy of AGW had spread from America. It is used as an excuse for population control initiatives.
 
People have to remember that climate changes donlt just happen they do have causes. And yes in the past they were all natural. The reason we donlt think its mainly natural now is because the signs don;t fit. There is patterns and evidence for instance we would expect to see for instance if it were the Sun that we donlt. The evidence does however point to a greenhouse gas related warming. And right now we havenlt seen any natural sources of greenhouse gases strong enough to explain things. skepticalscience.com/its-not-us-advanced.htm
