SOLOMON CONDITIONAL

1 Kings 9:4-5 And IF thou wilt walk before me, as David thy father walked, in integrity of heart, and in uprightness, to do according to all that I have commanded thee, and wilt keep my statutes and my judgments: THEN I will establish the throne of thy kingdom (SOLOMON’S KINGDOM) upon Israel for ever, a**s I promised to David thy father, **saying, There shall not fail thee a man upon the throne of Israel.
Read your own post. Why do you keep skipping where God says it is because of His promise to David that Solomon is on the throne?
DAVID UNCONDITIONAL
2 Samuel 7:16 And thine house and thy kingdom (DAVID’S KINGDOM) SHALL be established for ever before thee: thy throne SHALL be established for ever.
I have already pointed out the error in this your understanding. There is one covenant with David which extends to Solomon because God made that promise to David that David’s son would remain on the throne and his line would continue on the throne if they remained faithful…

sincerely,

De Maria

What specifically is off about Christianity and Islam being the Iron Gentiles and Jews being the Clay? If the Kingdom of God is represented by the fig tree in the Bible and both Muslims and Christians say Jesus is Messiah…

Proverbs 27:17-18 Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend. Whoso keepeth the fig tree shall eat the fruit thereof: so he that waiteth on his master shall be honoured.
Did I say it was off?

But don’t take that as a confirmation of what you said. However, it seems to hold merit.

Isn’t the womb the most place for rebirth, since it is the most natural place for birth?

birth, not resurrection. When Jesus raised Eliazar (sp?), he did not put him in his mother’s womb,…when we will be resurrected, it won’t be in wombs.
What do you suppose this means if Mary was his real mother?

this is about Melchizedek.
But made like unto the Son of God.
  1. Jesus was made from the seed of David according to the flesh.
  2. But the Son of God was made with no mother or father, and Adam is also called the Son of God in Luke.
To me this says, Jesus was first made the old fashioned way with a mother and father. And then reborn with no mother or father, but through resurrection.

Resurrection, in a womb or a valley of bones or wherever, has more of a precedent in Ezekiel, than the idea of God being born through a woman, which has no precedent anywhere except in Gentile mythology.

Do you mean for conception?

She is Jesus’ real mother.
Hebrews 7:3 Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually.
This is a description of Melchisedek, the Priest of God.

What this verse means is that Melchisedek is not a Levitical priest. The words, without father, without mother, means without genealogy as the next next phrase confirms. Without beginning of days nor end of life means that we don’t know when he was born nor when he died. Yet he is like unto the Son of God because Jesus is also not a Levite, being of Davidic descendance and because he Melchisedek also offers the Thanksgiving Sacrifice of Bread and Wine and not the sacrifice of animals which was established in the Mosaic covenant.

Sincerely,

De Maria

If MARY IS Jesus real mother then Joseph may be his real father and Jesus (body) may be born from the seed of david through Joseph the carpentar. Only The spirit of jesus may be from God. It is the spirit that matters most.

As Jews often point out, Joseph was cursed through Jechonias not to have any more kings in his line, so that would disqualify him.

I have no idea what either of you are talking about. Moslems haven’t a clue what the Bible teaches, or what Christianity is all about. They read the Bible, but their eye are closed as to what it says. They might as well be coming from another planet.

I think I have a pretty good handle on it. I was telling him Joseph couldn’t transfer royalty by adoption or by being the natural father because his line was cursed.

Not to mention that the throne was never given back to the Solomon line, only David has it.

I will believe that when I see it!.

Which Joseph Could not transfer what royalty by what adoption by being the natural father of whom? Whose line was cursed, and why, and who says?

Which throne are you talking about, and why was it never given to Solomon, and who says?

I do wish I knew what the heck you are talking about!

No.
Scripture tells us from the beginning that the Messiah will be the Seed of the Woman. The terminology “seed of the Woman” is unheard of in the Old Testament except in this prophecy in Genesis 3.
and Jesus (body) may be born from the seed of david through Joseph the carpentar.
He is the Son of David through Mary who is also of the line of David. Joseph, described as a just man would not marry outside his lineage. That was Jewish law. Therefore Mary is of Davidic descendance.
Only The spirit of jesus may be from God.
Jesus is God.
It is the spirit that matters most.

That is Catholic Teaching.

John 6
64 It is the spirit that quickeneth: the flesh profiteth nothing. The words that I have spoken to you, are spirit and life.

Sincerely,

De Maria

It only applied to daughters I think, based on Numbers 36. Boaz married Ruth, a Moabite, their grandson was King David. So that can’t really prove Mary was of Judah, if she was a convert to Judaism and didn’t descend from any Israelites.

Dear FoA,

Your knowledge of the bible is incredible, especially the OT. You are quite correct that Ruth was a Moabite. But, before Ruth married Boaz, she already married to either Mahlon of Kilyon (I don’t remember who). They are the son of Elimelekh which is the clan of Boaz. The Israellite consider the offspring to follow the line of the Father not the Mother, I think. By the time Ruth married Boaz, she is already considered as one of the Israellite by her previous marriage.

It was Mahlon. But I don’t think Ruth is considered to have converted until he died and Orpah left to return to Moabite gods, but Ruth said that she wanted to stay and accept Naomi’s God of Israel. I don’t think marriage to an Israelite necessarily meant conversion.

So then because she converted and accepted God, she met Boaz and the line of David and Jesus was made possible.

She was born of St. Joachim and St. Anne. They were faithful and devout Jews.

De Maria
