I, too, have had trouble finding what I would consider national/objective sources of information … and it really has been difficult. Further complicating the matter was the intentional mischief that an NBC producer decided to try with editing a tape that added a negative slant to Zimmerman’s conversation to the 9-1-1 operator. This case is very complex and any attempt to channel it out along a pre-determined stream (e.g., racism, vigilianteism, gansta, etc) simply will lead nowhere near where the truth is. Ultimately, things have only gotten more complicated with the so-called ‘New Black Panthers’ putting a $10,000 bounty on Zimmerman’s head and now his lawyers are dropping out because they can not get in touch with him.
In my judgment, the Florida Special Prosecutor is acting in a proper manner and while she is not going to be rushed, I would hope that she arrives at a decision before the end of the week to charge him or not. Now, there are other issues that have developed as a result of this unfortunate event - racism is being played out both ways by SOME of the participants for both sides. Yes, racist whites and racist blacks all encumbering the criminal justice system. Here we have US Attorney General Holder receiving public complaints about the inflammatory statements and actions of the ‘New Black Pathers’. His job is to enforce the law in a color-blind manner. Why he has not publicly acted against this group for the offered ‘bounty’ is beyond me. But, he is certainly entitled to the benefit of the doubt as the Justice Dept gathers evidence. I would hope that he, too, would act before the end of the week - to at least stop those inciting a riot and truly threatening the safety of all citizens.

I have been reading whatever I can find because I seek the truth. If you haven’t noticed, truth in this case has been a bit tough to come by because the media has been less than honest. You may have also noticed that several sources have, in fact, reported that the New Black Panthers have offered a bounty for Zimmerman. You can’t argue that fact even if you don’t like the sources of information.

If you go to a football game on a chilly November evening, you would have seen my mother wearing a hoodie.
If you go to a high school on a day when wrestlers are cutting weight, they’ll be wearing hoodies (this is actually kind of disgusting, since they’re trying to sweat out their water weight).
If you watch a sports team running through a neighborhood on a cool February day, they’ll be wearing hoodies.
If you go into a weight room to watch people lift, some of them will be wearing hoodies.
If its cold and raining outside, some of them might be wearing clothes meant to keep them warm and the rain off their head-perhaps one of them might be a hoodie?

If he has been fired, then he probably did something wrong and I don’t know if it was intentional. But I watched a clip on A360 and Anderson stressed at the beginning that, they had edited the 911 calls for time and appropriate content but kept it in sequence. Also, he made a very unfortunate choice of pictures on his website-the photograph of the graffiti reading “Long Live Zimmerman” was spraypainted on the black cultural center at Ohio State, and that’s undoubtedly an act of hate (by the spraypainter, not by Zimmerman; I’m not sure why he would have chosen such a photograph).
