Eugenics is Planned Parenthood in minority neighborhoods performing abortions, it’s not the US having a immigration policy that benefits its citizens.

Ab-so-lute-ly. I thought of that too earlier, eugenics is Planned Parenthood putting so many of their clinics, 90% more/less in minority neighborhoods, right on the mark.
 
The church has always been about both going to other countries to preach the gospel and administer to the people as well as preaching the gospel and administering to the people at home.

It has never been about facilitating the mass movement of millions of people from one place to another and to force the mandatory theft from the second group to the first through the power of the state.

There are two things in this discussion that the church needs to get up to speed with very quickly. One is the citizens and church’s relationship to the democratic state. The second is the facing down of the socialist wolf in Christian sheep’s clothing.

It is the fascists who push the climate change narrative and open borders. Fascism is statism. Fascism is socialism where the government exercises strict control over the means of production.
I think we know who that describes.

Fully agree that this is a form of eugenics.

It is also pseudo eugenics to discriminate against immigrants based on status
 
As it happens, many children are being brought over the border as a “get in free card” for some low life.
Then the child is handed off to return over the border, a “new fake parent get’s to rent the child” and back over the border we go - get in free card works every time. Stupid right? Child is getting worn out and sick, hasn’t got a chance, all used up - throw the child away. That is what you are helping to support. Enough of standing in the way of ending this travesty of Justice. It has been created by evil people and will continue if it is not spelled out - legally denying what has been used as a political weapon of dysfunction.

Please… who is pushing open borders? Please link to your source. I’d be happy to be wrong on this, but I have not come across ANYONE advocating for open borders
 
Advocating? No. Refusing do do anything to mitigate the border crisis for political reasons? Democrat run House is doing nothing.

I suggest we fix the intake system for legal immigration, not discriminate against the less well to do. As a Catholic, I find the proposal to discriminate based on status unacceptable.

Well… what were you saying when the republicans controlled the house, senate and executive … for multiple years. Let’s not be selective … there are piles of blame for both political parties.

I pray US Catholics will stand up in unison for a Catholic solution in line with Catholic teaching on this issue … and stop the pseudo eugenics inherent in Trump’s proposal
 
There is no eugenics here. There’s no discouraging of reproduction based on genetic defects.

A country isn’t a charitable concern. It exists to advance the interests of its citizens.

NPR is a left wing news source. I don’t believe much of what they offer.

Any of the sanctuary cities is pushing open borders.
If you believe foreign nationals who cross the border or stay here illegally should be allowed to stay, you believe in open borders.
I strongly believe in expansion of immigration. Those who come or stay here without permission are not immigrants. That term is too honorable.

Fair enough if you don’t care for the news outlet … someone referenced Breitbart earlier.

However, if you could respond based on the merits of the research and premise, rather than a blanket dismissal, that would be great
 
So you want a partisan reference to suit your needs rather than the actual definition of the word “eugenics?” I think we’re done. Good night.
