Stay in school, kids. Reading comprehension is a real thing. The form does not say what @gam197 claims it says. At all…
There are many Catholics on these forums and the Church has always taught that you cannot lie and steal to get what you want. There is real concern about 2,2 million new voters in Georgia who got their names on a voters registration list through the Department of Motor Vehicle DMV). Why were Foreign Nations, green card holders allowed to sign a Voter Registration section at all ?(Please Note: This uploaded content is no longer available.)

Historically speaking I have never had a problem with the post office.
I have. Some days the postal worker just doesn’t even come. There hasn’t exactly been utility reliability in getting a package or envelope; they’ve been lost for up to weeks. For me UPS has been the most reliable.

I had concerns for the paper ballot since there were rather simple mistakes that could invalidate it. I, myself, voted in person. But not on the first day of early voting since that had the longer lines. I went close to the end where lines were down to an hour or so.

Right let’s make it so easy to vote that it becomes effortless to do so. Let’s make sure the industrious and thoughtful voters who work hard to educate themselves and demonstrate their commitment to the country by at least putting in the effort to get their shoes on and go stand in line for a few minutes don’t have all the say in how the country is run
Certainly don’t want the great unwashed masses having a say in their government. We really should bring back tests to make sure only the right sort of people are allowed to vote. (sarcasm is now turned back off)

Who do you think is checking that they are? If you feel this is the case, call for an audit of Georgia’s ballots, and let’s get going to resolve this.
Believe me, as a Georgia resident I can tell you, the last thing anyone in our government wants is to be a liberal state. I worked in several state departments, and at several different office-wide events (holiday parties etc), whoever was the boss always told us to bow our heads while the boss said grace over the meal. That was probably a violation of church and state but we’re still very religious here.

I don’t understand the narrative that the President is promoting, that somehow our state government is conspiring not to elect him.

He is asking whether this election was fair over all. There is a senate race coming up shortly and if Georgia turns again. it is probably an indication that your state has turned democrat. How did that happen if not through the DMV license renewal and the 2.2 new voter registrations(not new drivers)?

The next thing to expect is that all illegal aliens will be allowed to get driver’s licenses.

Georgia votes as a block since 1876 so to flip Georgia is a great accomplishment because Georgia citizens have actually only voted once republican for Bill Clinton in 1992 except for their own Govern Jimmy Carter. in 1976.

Yes, Georgia voted democrat in 1960s and earlier but that was a different party. then.

Apparently, Twitter also applies the red and black filter to what it disapproves of and has removed the posts of the independent individual who dug up Dr. Coomer’s approving comments regarding Antifa.
This smacks of McCarthyism. The issue is who got the most votes not what some professor thinks about antifa. Conservatives have set up a strawman.

“Dominion has no company ownership relationships with any member of the Pelosi family, the Feinstein family, or the Clinton Global Initiative, Smartmatic, Scytl, or any ties to Venezuela,”[the company says on a Web page debunking election rumors. “Dominion works with all political parties; our customer base and our government outreach practices reflect this nonpartisan approach.”

Yes they have to walk the first time they get their license but they do not come back every year to renew. - it can be up to 8 years.
Not non-citizens, though. They need to show up every time, according to the web site.
The licence renewal form states you need to opt out not to be automatically registered to vote.
For those eligible to vote? Sure. For non-citizens? Nope.
I understand that but who is going to sit there and check every ballot and then check to confirm that ever social security number is correct for 2.2 new voters. The are not.
They check it prior to registration. On the web site, they mention the “S.A.V.E.” system of identity verification for non-citizens.
It never mentions that any other information will be required. This section D is called Voter Registration.
It mentions it in Section B. You’re only looking at one part of the form.
Didn’t change the outcome of those elections does not mean it couldn’t change the outcome of other elections that were not audited.

What part of the logic of this are you not getting?
The part that asserts that we should upend the whole election without any a priori proof that there was a problem in a particular district. The one district that had a problem, saw indications of it in their data. So… they investigated, and resolved the problem. You’re asking that all districts – regardless of any evidence of problems – should be torn apart and rebuilt again.

In the end game, you’re asking for states to withhold certification, which seems to be a tactic geared to making way for partisan state legislatures – rather than the voting public – to choose electors.

Not cool. That would be “stealing an election.”
Why were Foreign Nations, green card holders allowed to sign a Voter Registration section at all ?
Once they marked that they aren’t a citizen, the rest is immaterial. They’re ineligible. They could’ve written a 500-word essay on why they really, really want to vote… but that wouldn’t get processed for voting purposes.
if Georgia turns again. it is probably an indication that your state has turned democrat. How did that happen if not through the DMV license renewal and the 2.2 new voter registrations(not new drivers)?
In other words, your problem isn’t that one particular election was rigged – your problem is that moter-voter registrations brought citizens who vote differently than you to the polls. Well… that sure tells the story, here!

No, there isn’t “real concern.”

You still have presented no evidence that any single registration is problematic.

You should present actual evidence.

(Oh my, 😰 running sounds so difficult.)
Two points to make here:
  1. Voting should be as effortless as possible. It is the most important right Americans have, and it is mentioned in the Constitution far more than any other right. Since it is so fundamental to our government, it should be as simple as possible. Your hyperbole notwithstanding.
  2. Just so you know, the argument you made sounds suspiciously like literacy requirements that were used to disenfranchise millions of voters for generations. There is no requirement to be “informed” before voting.
In essence, your argument sounds a whole lot like: “Only people like me should be able to vote.”

This smacks of McCarthyism. The issue is who got the most votes not what some professor thinks about antifa. Conservatives have set up a strawman.
If you cannot win, misdirect, as L. Frank Baum showed us.

Its called “the new Jimmy Crow”, i.e. Republican efforts at holding down some votes. If their politics were so wonderful, they would concentrate on getting more adherents, not on suppressing the vote of opponents.

There is a senater race coming up. Why not allow the auditors to come into the state of Georgia and audit the ballots so that everyone will feel that there was no discrepancy in the new 2.2 million new voter registrations. 74 million voters want some clarification.

Why not clear it all up?

I’ve had this conversation with my coworkers who voiced this exact same concern about their elderly parents.

A close coworker friend of mine was telling me that she was not going to bring her 85 year old mother down to the election office to have her mother stand in line with her walker, for who knows how long. The lines for elections can go on for hours.

Then add the issue of the pandemic on top of it.

Mail in ballots is the most logical solution for these issues

When I speak to other people that are not from Georgia, to some of them, they see religion as a common topic of discussion here. If I took a technical interpretation of what they say, there are a lot of references to religion. But perhaps because I grew up here, when someone says “Has a blessed day” or something like “This is a good day that he’s made” I don’t as immediately recognize it as a religious statement.

Out of curiosity how concerned are you about things like this: https://www.apmreports.org/story/2019/10/29/georgia-voting-registration-records-removed ?
74 million want some clarification on the state of Georgia election and their own citizens want some clarification on the 2.2 new DMV voter registrations.

Why not allow it. There is a senate race coming up.

Next thing in Georgia, they will propose that illegal aliens to be able to get drivers license .

New England states allow illegal immigrant 9undomented) to get drivers license.

Lines in Georgia were up to ten hours. Lowering the effort would be appreciated.
Lowering the effort is one thing. Lowering the effort while completely undermining requirements for matching signatures, integrity of process and chain of custody is something else entirely.

I don’t think that we’ll have that problem. It’s been quite the opposite. A person that was legally registered to vote, and had participated in the elections, previously could get to the front of such a line and find they are not registered any more by no fault of their own. It took a lawsuit to get that problem corrected. GA has previously been over-eager to remove someone’s registration at times.

And? It turns out it’s better than having a ton of unlicensed drivers on the road. Whether someone is here illegally or not, I’d prefer they know the driving laws. It doesn’t mean they can vote or access any other services.

And the elderly? Those who are immuno-compromised? Were my father American he could not vote if you set such conditions up as he finds it hard to stand for extended periods. There must be millions of Americans like that.

Right, legitimate cases exist, but the left uses the legitimate cases to blow wide open all requirements for security and transparency.

When abortion was first proposed it was to protect the life of the mother when her life was endangered. Today, endangerment means danger to every woman’s convenience and whims as promulgated by the ideals of the left.

When transgenderism was first considered as an issue it was to protect the rights of intersex individuals who physiologically have the characteristics of both sexes. Today it simply means anyone can determine their sex by choice and children can have their biological gender irretrievably altered. We didn’t, apparently, learn anything from the eugenics scandals of the last century.

When rights for individuals who had same sex attractions were initiated it was to protect them from being denied employment or a home. Today it is used to shut down adoption agencies and persecute bakers and photographers who don’t believe same sex marriage is a possibility.

The left uses small openings in the door to barge in and destroy the entire culture, rules of law and stable institutions.

The issue I have is that the defenders of the left turn a blind eye to the entire destructive venture of the left because it pretends to defend a sector of society that deserves protection, but not at the expense of blowing up society.

Continued…
