Rather, off-topic, but replying to some replies to me:

The whole thing was partly a joke, partly serious. The advantage of Japan over Europe or Canada, as I see it, is that Japan was never a Christian country to begin with. Unlike Western countries which have rejected Christianity, Japan was just never influenced by Christianity. But anyway, I’d put a bit more thought into it than that if I were actually planning on leaving America.

I do rather like the idea of a monarchy. I have no hope whatsoever that America would ever be one, but I like pomp and circumstance and tradition. Which puts another plus for Japan, having the Emperor and all.

I know Japan is a very homogeneous country with very few Christians, but I’ve never heard before of the things on that site. And that site itself is, umm… kinda strange. So I question it some, is what I’m saying.
But what is said at that site is said by many people, so if one doesn’t like the website, they can… umm… prove it wrong by looking up articles on it and research it for themselves.

Libya, a complete disaster, Egypt, a complete disaster, during the Obama/Clinton SOS admin.

Yeah? What’s one saying about Romney? We probably would not have seen such horrible things happen and Christians and many other killed and that is in Egypt and Libya alone.
The 2012 election was after the intervention in Libya and the revolution in Egypt.

Unless Romney was a business parter of Doc Brown, I don’t see things turning out any different.

Neither.

I have zero party affiliation.

The choices we have are backed by dollars. For example: “We’ll give you millions of dollars if you support our cause, choice, corporation, etc.” That’s why it’s called a “war chest.”

Then you hire professional mud-slingers to get the dirt on your opponent. They may not always tell the whole story, but hey - “All’s fair in war.” (yes, I left out the other part)

Party loyalty was never my motivation, just choosing whoever would cause (I hope) the least damage.

Trump just sounds like a “Just bomb everybody who gives the US a hard time.” Diplomacy? The Art of the Deal? No?

Given all the trillions this bankrupted nation has spent on bombs however, it makes more sense to many than the endless search for “nuances” that aren’t really there.

There is a priest who has a theory that Trump is a plant to get Hilary elected.

I can see this being true…so…Neither!!!

So one doesn’t consider Planned Parenthood being funded with over a half billion dollars every year to mean anything? Nor the way it has been defunded on the state level and abortion clinics or Planned Parenthood offices have been closed, they are posted here every week of the year, New Jersey, Texas and so on . Has one ever actually prayed outside of an abortion clinic, talked to other pro-lifers or read regularly pro-life sites like lifenews to make such statements? Even praying a pro-life rosary at a Church?

I find this line of argument actually to work for the pro-choice side, as saying, “it doesn’t matter anyway”, I would think those who say this are not up-to-date on the pro-life side, respectfully because this line of debate is frequently said.
Bless you if you are actively involved. However, the issue never has the ability to move itself up the ladder of significance with voters. Say what negative remark you wish; but the reality is that it has been over forty-two years (and counting). Without any organized effort, we are not going to see an Amendment ratified to bring a change. Which would be the most effective method.

Just because a clinic closes in one area does not mean another hasn’t open in another region. We have been monitoring changes like someone that keeps a watch on their investments. What is frustrating to me is that most people feel that they can just cast a vote and not have to deal with the issue until the next election cycle…and that is no way to implement any real change. Worse, by being a “single issue” voter, you allow the world around you to crumble.

Is abortion really the only issue you disagree with Hillary on?

I remember last summer there were a few articles saying Trump was a Hillary Plant from some conspiracy sites, but I haven’t seen any of that lately.
I don’t think he’s a Hillary plant.

Each one of us is called to make the world a better place and not just at the voting booth. It is not the be all and end all. Individuals can and do make a difference - one on one. Regarding abortion:

The world gets built up when we help that homeless person standing on the corner. How many people remember that being self-reliant was taught in families? That once you were old enough to work, you got a job?

I hope I don’t come off as a “single issue” voter. My message is that we do a poor job propagating our message and in forty years, we have not seen any significant results. However, in that time we have seen a significant change in our values.

I would not vote for Hilary because like other politicians - I don’t trust her. It goes beyond the issue at Benghazi, I don’t like her handling of Wall Street - I believe she tells the public one story and negotiates another. Dodd-Frank Act and Volker Rule are two good examples where she waives the flag of change but after elections - other “pressing” events of the time will renders these as unfulfilled campaign promises.

Americans are seeing a “race to the bottom”. I think we heard the remark in a number of Presidential Debates this Fall; Americans have not seen a significant increase in wages in over ten years - many make less than they did ten years ago. Yet, our friends on Wall Street have been rewarded for the blunder they created and have seen their compensation continue to grow exponentially.

Yet politicians like Hilary, promises programs and higher wages without addressing the issues that are causing our economy to be stagnate - the biggest catalyst being Wall Street. We need an outsider, just not Trump…

Can you elaborate on the humor of someone inserting their own audio track???

Sorry, I humor I don’t understand…🤷
Bad Lip Reading. The sounds match up to what it looks like they’re saying. So if you were watching it without sound that might be the way you’d catch things.

Sorry. I just had that show up. And thought I should unleash it on you all.

It is very unlikely. The Republican party would not allow Trump to be their candidate in the general election.
There we see the big difference between the two parties: Republicans are at least* trying* to get a moderate Republican into the White House, whereas on the other side Clinton and Sanders are each just as big a nut as Obama is. (Although to be fair, their 2004 nominee, Kerry, seemed like a moderate Democrat … at the time anyhow.)

Is Trump supposed to be the moderate republican you are referring to? Or is it someone else?
