I won’t support him again, too much of a hypocrite.

Why is it that name-calling is suddenly okay when it’s done to Mitt Romney?

The point of Romney’s speech was not to inspire confidence. It was to point out the truth about Trump before the GOP self-destructs. Once it is pointed out, like the Emperor’s New Clothes, everyone can see that truth for themselves.

And drew almost everyone into the public spectacle of on the spot policy. Yesterday the families and children were disposable, today they can live. Thats progress, and the apparent moral candidates have no shot or very little of winning. May not be unprecedented in history but it sure is in this technical age of the weekly dog and pony show. They even drew that Catholic fellow Rubio in.

The fact that

1. His first instinct is to kill these people
2. His second instinct is to force the military to do it when he’s told it is against the law. is trouble.
3. He only probably 'changed" his position because his advisors told him too.

Yes there is and morally too. He stated he couldn’t morally support someone like Trump but he morally took his endorsement. In fact he stated he would have morally took “anyones”. I wonder if that meant David Duke too? Anyone is in fact anyone and morally speaking thats a hypocrite.

He’s also a huge hypocrite for championing an immediate release of all Trump’s IRS statements. He’s turned into the despicable Harry Reid.

Romney was another in a long line of bad Republican candidates. The only reason the Republican won with “W” is because as inconceivable as it may seem, the democrat party candidates were worse.

The reason for Trump’s success is due to the poor quality of candidates supported by the republican establishment. If this ends up destroying the Republican party, then so be it. Perhaps that which replaces it will better represent the people.

Who is better off than they were 7 years ago? Ask someone who is now paying for health insurance with the money they don’t have and didn’t have before for insurance. When I heard about the idea of national healthcare I was up for it. The idea that our government would be able to negotiate for health insurance for all Americans sounded like the best idea on record. At this point we all know what happened, the citizens were sold a bill of goods and the government and insurance companies took the money and ran cheered on by congress.

Yes, I pay more for insurance than I did before as well. I am comfortable with that because it allows the previously uninsurable to have coverage. Frankly, I disliked the Affordable Care Act because it wasn’t liberal enough! So I agree with you on that point.

That said, I believe it was a first step. I honestly think we will have a national healthcare system similar to what they have in Europe by the time my children start having children. Fingers crossed!

I get it too, but I feel like a lot of people support Trump out of emotion rather than wit.

They are right to be emotional. They gave the gop the house and senate and they did nothing. It may be a stereotype but it is the Democrats who rely on emotion. But let’s not get into that discussion.
