Hey, personally I’m waiting for a new kind of candidate. One that belongs to no party and has no ties with any special interest groups.

The education lawsuits have escalated here as funding and grants and loans became approved through Obama after 2008. Many of the schools I don’t think were bad but the fact is people run up 15-30 bills and still find themselves unable to use the earned degree to sustain a career. I don’t know in depth issue with Trumps school, I do know most of the cases are in court .
Perhaps the problem isn’t the Obama bogeyman but for-profit universities. When corporatism meets academia, little positive results.

Well then the same should be said of the Republican Party.🤷
I don’t know I think we established the Demos are racists and liars here today ā€œfor sureā€ , the jury is still out on the Republicans. :clapping: :tiphat:

Yes on a more serious note.

I think so, I have seen it a few times since 09. Its not Obamas fault as I even think he spoke out about many of these schools not long ago. Course it doesn’t absolve Trump either but for sure it was a sign of the times. The intentions were good with Obama for sure.

Its only Republicans who lie? You sure you want to go with that? Oh memories of Johnson still swim through my mind. šŸ‘ 50 years of nothing but lies by them.

Wait the Demos not only JUST amended their racist ways via Hillary but lying ways also. Hillary is the par excellence of liar. šŸ˜‰
Oh, I have no doubt that Dems are equal opportunity liars. My specific comment related to the fact that for years the GOP has said whatever they think the religious right wants to hear, and then ignored those issues until the next election cycle. The Dems have their own version of that behavior, certainly.

I know, I was just having some fun with all of it. I follow your points though I do. šŸ˜‰

It would seem that for some, perhaps many, all of these issues are irrelevant because they aren’t abortion. I wonder what conservative voters are willing to accept in exchange for a candidate who purports to be pro-life. How many immorals and evils would have to be championed by a candidate to outweigh that one issue?
I would disagree with you. I know this is very simplistic, but for example

Person A may think the best way to help their poor neighbor is to help find a job for him/her

Person B may think the best way to help their poor neighbor is bringing him food and clothes.

Both of these things are great. Which one is going to help the most probably isn’t cut and dry. One circumstance is always different from another. The point being that there are many ways to help those less fortunate in material wealth.

There is only one way to keep someone from being legally murdered, and that is to make it illegal.
I may or may not always agree with the Republicans on the best way to help the poor, but if they were to start talking about how they want to pass laws that purposely hurt the poor, or they would like to see those without food just starve; that would concern me as much as abortion.
The issue here is that the democrats think killing unborn children is not only a right, but also good in many instances.
I’ve never heard a republican say it is good to have starving children, even though I’d agree that many times people are apathetic about it.

i think this has been said before so i apologize for the repeat – but i wish he’d use teleprompters more often. He often rambles without answering any question.

Here’s something humorous that’s making the rounds on facebook. It’s obviously an exaggeration…but not by much:

lol if you say so but I guess it really all depends on who’s smoke screen is blinding you.😃

No getting around that one gracepoole, thats a point which might render a 100% consensus.
Now, however people like Trump’s speech style, I’ve always had the impression after debates and speeches that I remember exactly what Trump said but don’t really know what the other candidates stand for. You might say Trump rambles, but for others he speaks like a normal person in real life while politicians hem and haw.

The worst is Hillary. Half of the time I have no idea what she’s talking about.

I guess I missed where TMC said only republicans lie. I wouldn’t agree with that, but can you please show me where I missed that statement?
