She would’ve been on the national stage at any point because Trump is a national celebrity.

As for why now? I have no idea. But–Trump says bad things. He said bad things about himself. Millions of voters are willing to accept him despite the bad things he says he did. He stands a reasonable chance of being elected president.

Maybe she finally overcame her fear of reprisals and ridicule because there’s too much of a risk in remaining quiet any longer. And she’s getting exactly what she probably feared: ridicule, derision, vilification, and opprobrium. 😦

If anything, she’s given women across America a shining example of what they should do if a powerful man (allegedly) sexually molests them: stay quiet and pretend it didn’t happen.
Notice how your whole opinion piece didn’t cite any details of her description of the alleged abuse, but every word is just an opinion, whereas those doubting her story can point to an exact spot of her story and say, hey, that’s quite improbable.

Several of the women who accused Trump of unwanted kissing or groping have explained why they came forward at this time and not earlier. The Access Hollywood video showed Trump bragging about the sort of behavior that they had experienced. Then, at the second presidential debate, in response to a question from Anderson Cooper, Trump denied that he had ever done any of the things that he had bragged about in that tape. That was too much for these women, who decided to come forward with their own stories of how Trump had, indeed, groped and kissed them. Honestly, most women in their position know that a rich and powerful man like Trump can deny their story, shame them, even bankrupt them through lawsuits and the like – as he has done or threatened to do. That’s why they did not come forward earlier. Trump brought this whole thing upon himself.

The real lesson here, if anything, is if someone is doing something inappropriate to you, yell, scream, get someone’s attention right then and there so you can have a witness, especially if you are in a public place. These women all were in a pubic space, and yet none, absolutely none, had a witness of any kind.

Even aside from woman coming forward to say that they were groped by Mr. Trump, aren’t his supporters also troubled by a lot of his other comments? Here’s part of a conversation between him and Howard Stern:

Stern asked, “Can you imagine the sex with this troubled teen?” (Lindsay Lohan)

“Yeah, you’re probably right,” Trump said. “She’s probably deeply troubled and therefore great in bed. How come the deeply troubled women, you know, deeply, deeply troubled, they’re always the best in bed?”

What normal almost 60 year old man fantasizes about sex with troubled teens?

Have you seen the Obama video? Worse than this.

Once again, this is the Howard Stern show. He was keeping with the premise of the show and these are usually written comedy bits for the Howard Stern audience. They think Ba Ba Booey is funny.

So Mr. Trump’s comments on Howard Stern were just part of a comedy routine? (that’s a new excuse I haven’t seen before)

I agree with you there. If one is foolish or politically incorrect enough to appear on the Howard Stern show, of course one is more than likely to exaggerate or make up ridiculously outrageous things to say and laugh about together with Stern.

Yes and if you’ve listened to the Howard Stern show, it is a comedy show with the maturity of a 13 yr old. Its not for everybody, especially the easily offended! I can’t believe anybody is taking seriously anything said on that show!!!

This obama video.

conservativeoutfitters.com/blogs/news/video-obama-caught-on-camera-flaunting-erection-to-female-reporters

If you look up on snopes, a site favorable to liberals, it will say the story is unproven, which means they can’t prove its false.
How come the video is so blurry that no one in the video can actually be identified? No wonder that Snopes has said that the claims about this video are unproven since nothing at all can be proven or disproven from this video.

The “Captain Morgan” in front of female passengers is pretty telling. And this is a married man doing this!

The funniest thing about this Howard Stern stuff is absolutely nobody in the mainstream media took Howard Stern seriously until right now. That in itself is dubious and more evidence the media is trying to ruin Trump. They are validating a comedy show as if it is real news to people who don’t know better.

It looks like there’s another one today:

Cathy Heller joins eight other women in coming forward with allegations of sexual misconduct against Republican, with story similar to his taped remarks

theguardian.com/us-news/2016/oct/15/donald-trump-sexual-misconduct-allegations-cathy-heller

At this rate, we’ll probably have a new allegation of groping against Mr. Trump every day until election day.
And more emails about Hillary’s corruption but that doesn’t bother you? Really strange

Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t really see the humor in Howard Stern calling Ivanka Trump a “piece of a**” and Mr. Trump agreeing with him even though it was about his own daughter. 🤷

Its not a show for you
