I’m a pro-lifer. Do you think I’m racist?

Anyway the subject is Tommy Robinson so I don’t see the point of your deflection.

Unless you think that if the UK is wrong on its stance on pro-lifers it should also be wrong on its stance towards Tommy Robinson. Doesn’t compute right.

Tommy is a white supremacist. No doubt about that. Not because he spoke against Muslim gangs but because of his other beliefs.

He is close to Martin Sellner and his now wife, Brittany Pettibone, notorious white nationalists.
 
It is the same issue, infringement on people’s right to freedom of speech.

And we have just established people in your own country have their property firebombed or worse for expressing unpopular political option. So why are you not more concerned about your freedom infringements?
 
No I do not. I see them as linked. I would like to hear Tommy Robinson side of the story just as I would like to hear the prolifers is the UK side of the story.

No one has been firebombed and left this country seeking refuge in another for their safety.

No they have not. The Westboro Church was a thing 15 years ago but has not been relevant in a very long time. Idle threats but nothing serious and they did not leave America.

Yes Gam, they have. Two men admitted to planting the bomb and were convicted. The second man was also convicted of driving to their meeting, with an SUV full of guns and ammunition and found guilty of intent to harm them. Those are not idle threats, those are real life events that resulted in real life convictions and jail time.

The church exists and is still active. You stating they are not relevant is purely your opinion. Besides, does the USA now only afford freedom of speech rights to ‘relevant’ groups, or to everyone? If it is the latter, than how ‘relevant’ you think the church is has no bearing on the argument.
