Although this was the first time I had seen the details of President Trump’s July 25th call with President Zelenskyin which he mentioned Vice President Biden, I had come to understand well before then that “investigations” was a term Ambassadors Volker and Sondland used to mean matters related to the 2016 elections and to investigations of Burisma and the Bidens.

For some reason people here aren’t that interested in reading them, likely because the reality is pretty clear, and there is no easy defense of the administration. All the people here can do is shout loudly about the Bidens and hope people stop talking directly about Trump.

One crime we do know Trump committed, though, and this one is horrendous. He actually thought, as POTUS, he was the one that set US foreign policy! Terrible.

The interesting thing is the inclusion of the 2016 server conspiracy theory in his Ukraine demands. The biggest beneficiary of such a pronouncement would be Russia, insofar as the Muller investigation conclusively found that the interference was a Russian operation. Endorsing a fake Ukrainian conspiracy would take attention away from the real Russian interference.
So if indeed Trump was indeed “setting US foreign policy” by attempting to implicate Ukraine in the 2016 election interference, why was he placing Russia’s interests ahead of the United States?

I never considered that. 😱. And with a Tulsi Gabbard / Jill Stein 3rd party run nothing will stop the Trump/Russia train from rolling over the world!

William Taylor said no quid pro quo ,did you miss that.Additionally,he was very evasive in most of his responses much like Meuller was with the Russia probe. They don’t want to perjur themselves yet at the same time want to leave an air of doubt.
 
Can you quote me the section in the transcript where he said there was no quid pro quo? I will treat a response not containing any quotes from the transcript as a concession that you were incorrect.
 
The Dems subpoena’d plenty of people from the Trump administration who could have served as defendants. They haven’t show up.

Your complete lack of interest in fixing corruption is astonishing. There are, by the way, documents connecting the money to Burisma via a Ukrainian bank owned by the same oligarch that founded Burisma (the company Biden was connected with.) Part of that $7B was the $1B that Biden used to bargain the dismissal of the Ukrainian Prosecutor Shokin.

We might see it all come out in the wash – hopefully. Unfortunately, the corruption runs very, very deep. Not that you would be interested. 😉

I think pretty much everyone knows this is a phony attack to undermine the President and illicitly gain power.
