How convenient for the slimy, suit wearing, highly refined and sinfully rich despots who sit in places of power…
Multitudes of Iranian children are at risk because of Obama’s embargo. Does that make him a terrorist?

Syria’s support for Hezbollah is irrelevant, because not everyone considers them terrorists, and that includes a good many Christians in the Middle East who support them to varying degrees. Hezbollah are far more tolerant of those with differing religious beliefs than America’s good ally Saudi Arabia.
As for news reports from Syria, quite a few Western journalists are now covering the war openly inside Rebel lines. Wonder how that would have been tolerated by the US if they tried giving reports like that from the "enemy" side in Iraq ? I seem to remember a report early in the Iraq War where the US military warned journalists what would happen to them if they broadcasted a signal in a combat zone.

This is a fact…and yet many will never be able to grasp this truth.

Considering they were the complicit in the deaths of 241 American servicemen, yeah, I would say they are pretty much universally considered the terrorsts they are (in the US).

No, that makes their government, which had ample warning and opportunity to avoid the embargo (an international sanction, I believe), irresponsible. If the at-risk children (or anyone else) dies as a result, then one might consider their government terrorists for inflicting on them avoidable suffering and death.

The Al-Qaeda agenda.
No, they are very much closed. You are buying into all the propaganda. How sad for you.
And now my correspondence with you is finished.
Goodbye! :tiphat:
What a pity! Just when I thought you were going to explain how Syria got to the state it is today…without any of that media bias of course. Instead, you give me two words as an explanation and bow out? I’m disappointed.

There was lots to report before ‘combat zones’ materialized. Unfortunately for Syria, Assad was intimidated by people carrying cameras and mics.

Syria’s support for Hezbollah is relevant to any people/nation who have ever been in their line of fire, unless it is your contention that Hezbollah is a peace organization…?

This is a valid point. I just read that the Egypt’s copts may be leaving the country en mass due to the Islamicization of the new regime. It will be sad to see the murder and eviction of Syria’s Christians, (where they were first called Christians…Acts of the Apostles), if Assad is overthrown.

“Arab spring”…yeah right. Another lie from our fabulous politicians and media.

The First Christians were persecuted, yet they survived. God doesn’t need Assad to protect His children anymore than He needed Herod, the High Priest or the Romans.

See post #103.
Being labeled a terrorist organization (which the US, UK, Australia, Netherlands, Israel, and a couple of others do for Hezbollah, BTW) isn’t based on popular support, if they are supported by “a good many Christians in the Middle East”, or even if they “are far more tolerant of those with differing religious beliefs”.

I’m sure the civillians they’ve intentionally targeted (on a multitude of occasions) would disagree.

Hezbollah have come out in favor of support for the Coptic Christian community in Egypt, and I posted a link to the story in Al-Manar earlier in this thread.

Well…you see it cuts both ways. Do you have any idea how many people look at Israel as a terrorist organization in the Middle East? 😉

Good for Hezbollah. Now I eagerly await their coming out against attacks which target civilians - of ANY religion.

It’s all a matter of perspective, I suppose. I don’t see how ANY entity which deliberately targets (or tolerates the targeting of) civilians as part of its modus operandi, has the moral basis to appeal to the rest of the world to take their side in a conflict.
