I wouldnā€™t bother with it anymore. Granted, I wouldā€™ve left Saddam Hussein in power. Sometimes these ā€œevilā€ dictators are literally keeping the lid on Hell.
 
Perhaps you wouldnā€™t, but your country has been saying it will leave for close to a decade now. Finish the war on your plate before starting more bloodshed.

Dude, you are literally saying your government is choosing to continue having your soldiers die over there. If they are; thatā€™s hideous.
 
Protracted conflicts are foolish. Itā€™s far better to be swift and brutal. You subdue the enemy to such a degree that they canā€™t retaliate against you in the foreseeable future.

Yes. And I still wish we werenā€™t. But I wouldnā€™t assume my government wants them to die.

I suppose I also donā€™t cheer on the idea of murdering people though.
 
War is death and suffering. And a thing to be avoided, not rejoiced over.

Why would think that? People traveling by surface transportation from El Salvador all the way through Mexico to the US border wouldnā€™t go through all that much hassle without expectations about what to expect.

The internet is very efficient at passing information to people.

I was watching TV last night, the applicants for asylum arrive with written scripts on what to tell the border guards so they can get in. The scripts are based upon what worked with others.
