Yes, there is. Here is a chart that shows how when the new vaccine( that was made from the aborted baby) was introduced, the autism rate went up.s3.amazonaws.com/soundchoice/soundchoice/wp-content/uploads/UNITED-STATES.pdf#page=20&zoom=auto

It’s very obvious if you would just take a look at it.
Please stop trolling.

The phony statistics and undergrad data mining are borderline sinful because they are base fabrications intended to do nothing more than satisfy the oppositional defiant disorder obviously shared by the charlatans at that website.

To wit:
In 2006 the market share of Internet Explorer was about 80%, and the number of murders in the U.S. was about 17,500. IE’s market share steadily declined over the next five years until it was about 45%. The number of murders also declined to about 14,700.

Therefore, the fewer people who use IE, the lower the number of murders. Or to put it another way, every time you use IE, you are increasing the number of murders in the U.S.

Sally, the chart shows a change point, there is at that change point (when autism rate spikes) that is when the new mmr is introduced. You have to see the charts.s3.amazonaws.com/soundchoice/soundchoice/wp-content/uploads/UNITED-STATES.pdf#page=20&zoom=auto

It’s hard to discuss this when we are not all up to speed. You have to see this so you can understand that there is a reason to believe that the vaccines are causing a problem.
I am unable to view the file.

However, I do have a question about autism. Can somebody who has never had a vaccine be diagnosed with it?

This is the definition of correlation.

If there were studies done that isolated the introduction of vaccinations as the only variable in a situation, that would change things. But these charts reflect real world conditions, and life doesn’t take place in a vacuum. However, there are approximately infinite other factors that could be relevant, which these graphs do not take into account.

Other factors like what? The internet? Thanks for that HILL, very helpful. No I would consider that if you could show the change point as it pertains to the change point in the autism rate. And Hills example was not germane.

This theory starts off making sense anyway, in that many parents of autistic children did see a change in their child after the child was vaccinated. We should not be so quick to dismiss that anecdotal evidence. It is a red flag and should be looked into. Then when we can look at the charts and see how perfectly the two things track each other, we should think about doing more research into whether or not these vaccines are making people sick.

Autism isn’t a new diagnoses, it has been known about for quite a while.

Research has been done. No credible link has been found.

Also, according to several sources, symptoms of autism begin to appear right around 12 months… the same time as some vaccines, including MMR, are recommended.

And I’m confused, there’s obviously more that’s changed since 1990ish than an increase in vaccinations and the internet. Are you asking other posters on this board to list them out for you?

Also, has anyone brought up en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thiomersal_controversy yet? That’s been brought up in most of the vaccination/autism conversations I’ve heard. I generally don’t like using wiki as a source, but I think it does a pretty good job of summarizing it all up.

The problem is that vaccines are given at around the same time certain milestones tend to happen. If they don’t, you can blame the vaccine, sure, but the cause could have also been well before that and it just didn’t show up until now.

The people I know who have children on the autism spectrum look back on their children’s first few months and see signs that they missed before. They might be surprised at first when a diagnosis is made, sure, but then they realize that their child could have been exhibiting signs in some cases from birth. 🤷

The problem with this thread, OP, is that you keep switching on what the big problem is. At first it was the origin of the vaccine - which has been explained to you multiple times but you still insist on saying that there are parts of aborted children in vaccines, which is false. There are no human cells in vaccines. That does not mean that ANYONE is arguing that it’s not problematic that vaccines were developed this way or that fetal cell lines continue to be used. It is problematic, but the threat posed by the disease in absence of an alternative is still sufficient enough that parents can make the decision to vaccinate their child.

So now it’s this false autism link. Correlation does not equal causation. There are tons of things that could correspond to the rise in autism rates, including changes in how it’s understood and diagnosed. Our lives today are a lot, lot different than they were 50 years ago or even 20 years ago. Birthing practices are different. Pregnant women are given different advice. We know a lot more about genetics. There are almost infinite variables.

With that I’m out, because I think we’re all being trolled, but in case there’s someone confused reading this thread in good faith, I figured I’d try to say my piece one more time.

Annie, this isn’t about thimerisal, it’s about the introduction of aborted baby biproduct into vaccinations. The speculation is that the DNA that is a contaminate in these vaccines is somehow causing autism. The charts show how when these new vaccines are introduced the autism rates rise, right along side the vaccination rate. In every state and in different countries too.

I really can’t keep up. We were going back and forth between do vaccines cause autism and are vaccines morally acceptable, and this is the first I’ve ever heard of autism is caused by the very part of vaccines that are morally questionable.

And, once again, looking at charts and numbers from year to year to see a comparison shows a correlation. There are a multitude of other environmental, chemical, hormonal, emotional, biological, on and on and on, factors that could be having an impact. You agree that correlation doesn’t mean causation, but you do not appear to understand the concept. This is not how science works.

Yes! That’s exactly it! Very few people have heard the theory that it is the fetal cell residue causing autism. It makes the most sense! And I know people have been putting forward that there could be other things causing it, but I would like to see charts like the one on the site I linked that show a correlation so plainly that even a doofus like me can see it!

The charts should generate enough interest in anyone who has the interests of children at heart to demand more research into this.

For me it is enough to know a baby died in the production of this vaccine to make me want to avoid it, that it is laced with her cell line is further revolting.

I know and the church teaches that we can cannibalize if we a starving. I just don’t think the measles is that critical at this point to make me want that vaccine.

No abortions were involved in the production of any vaccines. The abortions were not performed in order to produce a vaccine.

As I quoted before, and will quote again,
In total only two fetuses, both obtained from abortions done by maternal choice, have given rise to cell strains used in vaccine development. Neither abortion was performed for the purpose of vaccine development.
May be just semantics to you, but I think it is a very important point and worth clarifying to those who are concerned. The lives were ended already, nothing to do with the development of a cell line or any vaccines.

Very few people have heard the theory, fine. Is there any evidence of this other than correlation that you have to share, that explains why this makes sense?

(Other than correlation, other than correlation, other than correlation…)

Yeh, do the reading, there is lots to read. Don’t you think correlation can point to a problem, you seem to be dismissing the charts out of hand because we can’t prove the whole theory start to finish. I would think it was the start to finding the problem, a plausible theory, an obvious correlation…

Why does it matter what the mother’s motivation was for killing her child? Why does it make it so much better in your mind that she killed the baby for no particular reason? Her mindset doesn’t impact this argument at all the baby was unjustly butchered and then experimented on.

It would somehow be worse if she had gotten paid for turning the body over, what are you thinking of???

Please don’t put words in my mouth.

I am saying that your statement “a baby died in the production of this vaccine” did not accurately reflect what happened.

That doesn’t mean that I agree with the mother’s choice or think that the technology used today can’t be improved to move away from using cell lines of this nature. It means that I’m in favor of people having accurate information and not being misinformed, and I believe that statement is misinformed. Preventing abortions is a different topic for a different discussion, I’m just pointing out that the abortion was not done for the purpose of creating a cell line or developing vaccines. I personally feel that this is an important distinction.

We’ve got a lot of work to do in all sorts of areas!!

Maybe we need to ban margarine and sour cream! Think of the motorcyclists and Maine marriages!

Statistics are not science. Science isolates variables and study one variable at a time. Statistics is the playground of the internet and special interest groups. If you go to "NoMoreVax.com (made up), you will get reams of statistics and no science. The medical community is monolithic on this value of immunizations. The Catholic bioethics community is likewise in agreement as to the morality issues.

No one should listen to me. Listen to your doctor. Read what the Church has said. Read what the experts in the field of epidemiology say.

I thought the topic of this thread was more a general discussion of vaccines, and a possibly peaceful discussion of vaccines, not only the vaccine-autism link or the fetal cell lines in vaccines.
Research has been done. No credible link has been found.
.
Repeating it does not make it true. So you’re just going to ignore the scores of peer reviewed medical studies? I’ve posted links to quite a few in this post and I’ve posted a link to another link to a hundred. You can say, “There’s no credible link” over and over again, but that doesn’t make it true.

But again, there are countless reasons other than the autism risk to be concerned about vaccines.

And to the person who mentioned that measles is a danger to a pregnant woman’s fetus…you should also avoid contact with people who have been vaccinated in the past 28 days because they can shed the live virus and it is theoretically possible that the pregnant woman can catch it that way (source: the MMR vaccine insert from Merck). Should the recently vaccinated be quarantined?

And do your own research so you can make up your own mind. Don’t blindly follow anyone without educating yourself. God gave you the gift of a brain, a mind and intelligence.
