There are photos and videos but it is not clear as to whether or not they have been doctored or if they are photos of extraterrestrial objects. I think that you need to have an actual body of an alien or an actual flying saucer where people could walk by and see it and actually put their hands on it. Photos are not really absolute proof of anything, especially in this day and age.
Even though there most likely have not been credible sightings of aliens, it does not necessarily prove that they do not exist somewhere far out there in the great beyond of the vast, vast universe.
 
I have no argument with the possibility of alien life – even intelligent life – “out there”. In theory.

I’m a skeptic when it comes to specifics, like sightings/abductions/etc.

I generally have the same attitude toward psychic phenomena, private revelations, etc. I don’t disbelieve in the concept, just in most if not all particular claims.

As for aliens visiting the earth – if true, it means they’ve been able to overcome the universal speed limit, given how far away the closest extrasolar planets seem to be.

I see no theological prohibition – but I do believe there would be theological consequences – re the existence of aliens.

Biblically – perhaps these were the “Bene Elohim” (sp?) that sired the “Nephilim”. Or drove the Wheel that Ezekiel saw.

I can’t remember who, but some SF author (Asimov, maybe? He gets blamed for everything) said that a sufficiently advanced technology would be indistinguishable from magic. The same technology could be responsible for things deemed to be of divine/demonic origin.

I think my main beef with alien visitation is the idea that a civilization so technologically advanced that they can transcend the speed of light cannot develop a biological diagnostic system more efficient than an anal probe. 🤷
 
As far as I am concerned, if the first verifiable alien visitation happens before the second coming of christ then my views of judeochristianity will be radically altered and I will no longer believe the way its all been taught to me

Alien’s and UFO’s have been shown since our first Civilisations, Why do i get the idea you all think it’s a modern myth??:confused:

We all know that nobody knows who built the pyramids…
Aliens are just people speculating…
But we did have Nephilim, Maybe they built them, Just maybe??

And I think people like Walter Kronkite who say they were taken up by aliens are delusional to the point of near mental illness or just liars. Sorry if I offended anybody who was really taken up but that is my view.

Hello Matt,

Both ends of the spectrum are potentially dangerous.

What is popularly known as UFO’s - are real. They are flying and flitting around our atmosphere. But, they are not from other planets,…they are from this planet.
The “beings” that travel in these transports are not from other planets,…they are from this planet.

Anybody that is offended by your thread, is at the other end of the spectrum. A die-hard believer that these things are from a galaxy far, far away, in some utopian, advanced civilization that belongs to some inter-galactic federation of planets. Baloney. That’s Sci-Fi.

Lucifer and the ancient secret sects are behind it all.

Having said that - all we need to do is: pray the rosary, daily. Go to confession and communion weekly. And to love and serve the Lord and be a witness onto others.

UFO’s are not a modern thing, Ancient civilisations and cave drawings and tapestry’s go back long long time show us they have always been here, Some say they guard the dimension ports between us and the next world, Wether it be Hell or another planet, They are called Watchers, We know them as Greys. The bible mentions them too.

I want to see and touch an actual UFO or alien. I am not buying into pictures or photos of UFO’s.
 
Before I was married I was getting private instructions from a Monsignor on the faith so I could be married as a Catholic. I expected fire and brimstone but instead the priest was very reasonable and all his answers to my questions made sense. I began trying to stump him. One of the questions I remember the most was when I asked him if he believed in life in outer space. He told me it would be selfish to assume we’re the only life in God’s universe. I thought it was a good answer.

So you can joke about klingons and stuff but this stuff happens and we should open our eyes to just see what goes on sometimes…

You know what I was riding my motorcycle up near Crater Lake couple years ago and out popped Big Foot! Later on I saw Elvis hanging around the Lodge, then somebody called me and wanted me to go out and check some crop circles.

Ain’t nobody out here but us humans, why God made it that way I dunno. We are unique in this universe. Pehaps he made it that way so we’d have something to talk about.

All the Vatican is sayin is if ya wanna believe it, not sinful.
