To Joly

To answer your question as to whether they receive Communion . Check out the CNN video. The woman who says she is actively gay is clearly on the Communion line. This is an abomination, not a sacrament. I understand why you are confused but stick to Our Lord and His Blessed Mother. They speak the real truth, not the words of these people who would pervert and disgrace our Churches and Sacraments.
How can Archbp. Dolan and Pastor Costantino encourage the desecration of the Blessed Sacrament by allowing people to receive communion in (self-professed) mortal sin?

If there are any parishioners of St. Francis Xavier out there - Do you even believe in the Real Presence or has your Pastor led you to “prophetically” believe that the Eucharist is merely a symbol?

Well they have done a nice job with the church. It really is beautiful.
Usually these very liberal churches end up wreckovating the churches.
So I was very impressed.
In ten years time I am hoping that the St. Francis Xavier can put on a High Latin Mass. That will really finish off the church nicely
.

what do you mean that the Word of God has changed over the years??
The point he is making is that the Church, over the centuries, has changed it’s position on which Old Testament laws are applicable. Slavery is a prime example of that.
are you trying to say that God condemn sins for Israel but it is ok for the Church to do it?
God demanded adherance to 613 laws. The Catholic Church only requires adherence to 10 of them.

Thank you wisdomseeker. I agree. I would urge all who see this to please e-mail the following info. to the Vatican ( benedettoxvi@vatican.va ) :

(1) the link to St. Francis Xavier’s website: sfxavier.org/

(2) the “Rededication Mass” video: youtube.com/watch?v=sQEmO07DpaI

This case is so symbolic of everything that is wrong with the Church. Not only should this parish be exposed, the question needs to be asked: Why would Archbishop Dolan be appointed to the “task force” charged with cleaning up the abuse mess in Ireland when he is promoting the gay agenda in the U.S.?

Let’s help open the Pope’s eyes.
Three cheers for you, TruthFully. I will certainly do this. I hope everyone else on here will do the same and urge all their friends to send the videos as well. This is an extremely serious situation. We have a New York Archbishop who doesn’t seem to appreciate the Source, Center and Summit of our religion. By playing fast and loose with the Eucharist - encouraging active gays who are not in communion with the Church - to continue to desecrate His Home and His Body - this man has put himself outside of the Church.

It is time to say “No More!” so loud and so clearly that the Pope will eventually hear our voices. To quote Michael Voris, (Real Catholic TV) “Keep a prayer in your heart and your hand on your wallet.” If Rome doesn’t hear our voices, perhaps the silent collections will be deafening.

this is really horrifying. how can this be? then somebody protests against it, they stop using the banner and work quietly within the Church to enforce their agenda. this is not much different from the Church in california.
they make good money and are infiltrating the Church anyway they can. just think of what these people are doing to the Church. how can the Church preach about morals when something like this is going inside the Church?

I agree:thumbsup: But we all must be able to put in our part. Here we have the contact sources to send this complaint to. Online has made it easier for us. We must not sit by and let this happen. The Holy Father will see what’s going on in the Churches of America and hopefully something will be done. I will start my letter soon as I can and email it to these contact.

Hi all,

I’m new to the forum. I agree with the concerns regarding what’s going on in New York, both within St. Francis Xavier and the diocese at large. I found two interesting blog articles written by someone named Thomas Peters. They are from February of this year and further highlight the agenda of this parish. Good to know others have been on to this situation.

I have sent my email to the Vatican. (I have also tried to leave a message with Dolan’s office, but have been sent in circles.)

thank you for your support of the Catholic Faith. i wouldnt bother with these people. they are not interested in those who dont agree with them.

they know what the Church teach, they dont need you to tell them. they are doing what they like doing and no one is going to stop them. unless the holy father do something aobu it. or the faithfull just pick up and leave. the reason evil is spreading so quickly is because the Church no longer talks about consequences of sins. they dont even mention sins anymore.

it would intesting to hear this priest talking about sins. i wonder what kinds of sins he would be mentioning.

seriously. What could possibly be a sin to these people? according to the website they hold confessions in the “parlor”. That in and of itself sounds crazy…the priests there are confirming them in their sin as Fr. Corapi says.

I just shake my head at Bishop Dolan eating all this up on that video clip. I mean, I know the church is a mess but it’s astounding he can get away with all this. And Egan calling this a great great parish of the world? How dare he.

We regular people can’t remain silent on this type of horror; we know God ultimately will win the battle, but in the meantime we have to minimize the damage done.

Thanks for your (name removed by moderator)ut cyb. Interesting blog.

Seriously, looking at bishop Dolan, he is a man who wants popularity. i dont like to talk bad about any clergy but we must call it like it is.

God wins the battle and He has appointed disciples to fight the battles with him. that is why we have the martires. these men fought the Faith so we could have it today. we need Saints in our days to fight for the Faith so the next generation wont be left with an immoral Faith.

and the sad thing is these liberals are taking over the beautifull Churches while the Traditionals are left with tiny small Churches to celebrate the True Faith.

this false ecumenism has brought disastrous consequences for our Faith. whatever protestants are doing some Catholics wants to do it in the CC.

I’ve been reading the comments on this thread concerning St. Francis Xavier and have to make the following comments with all humility, love and mercy based on Scripture and my own walk with the Lord.

Through out the New Testament, Jesus message, the Apostles message was Repent, Repent, Repent. In the Book of Revelations, Jesus message to the 7 Churches was Repent.

The Early Church Fathers taught to walk in purity and in love. In the first Epistle of Clement of Rome, close associate and companion of St. Paul and Bishop of Rome, He writes: " For this reason righteousness and peace are now far departed from you, in as much as every one abandons the fear of God, and is become blind in His faith, neither walks in the ordinances of His appointment, nor acts a part becoming a Christian, but walks after his own wicked lusts, resuming the practice of an unrighteous and ungodly envy, by which death itself entered into the world."

**2 Peter 2:1-22
**

1 But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them-bringing swift destruction on themselves. 2 Many will follow their shameful ways and will bring the way of truth into disrepute. 3 In their greed these teachers will exploit you with stories they have made up. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping.
4 For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but sent them to hell, putting them into gloomy dungeons to be held for judgment; 5 if he did not spare the ancient world when he brought the flood on its ungodly people, but protected Noah, a preacher of righteousness, and seven others; 6 if he condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah by burning them to ashes, and made them an example of what is going to happen to the ungodly; 7 and if he rescued Lot, a righteous man, who was distressed by the filthy lives of lawless men 8(for that righteous man, living among them day after day, was tormented in his righteous soul by the lawless deeds he saw and heard)- 9 if this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue godly men from trials and to hold the unrighteous for the day of judgment, while continuing their punishment. 10 This is especially true of those who follow the corrupt desire of the sinful nature and despise authority.

Bold and arrogant, these men are not afraid to slander celestial beings; 11 yet even angels, although they are stronger and more powerful, do not bring slanderous accusations against such beings in the presence of the Lord. 12 But these men blaspheme in matters they do not understand. They are like brute beasts, creatures of instinct, born only to be caught and destroyed, and like beasts they too will perish.

13 They will be paid back with harm for the harm they have done. Their idea of pleasure is to carouse in broad daylight. They are blots and blemishes, reveling in their pleasures while they feast with you. 14 With eyes full of adultery, they never stop sinning; they seduce the unstable; they are experts in greed-an accursed brood! 15 They have left the straight way and wandered off to follow the way of Balaam son of Beor, who loved the wages of wickedness. 16 But he was rebuked for his wrongdoing by a donkey-a beast without speech-who spoke with a man’s voice and restrained the prophet’s madness.

17 These men are springs without water and mists driven by a storm. Blackest darkness is reserved for them. 18 For they mouth empty, boastful words and, by appealing to the lustful desires of sinful human nature, they entice people who are just escaping from those who live in error. 19 They promise them freedom, while they themselves are slaves of depravity-for a man is a slave to whatever has mastered him. 20 If they have escaped the corruption of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and are again entangled in it and overcome, they are worse off at the end than they were at the beginning. 21 It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them. 22 Of them the proverbs are true: “A dog returns to its vomit,” and, “A sow that is washed goes back to her wallowing in the mud.”

So what is St. Paul advice? In the Book of Galatians Gal 6:1 Paul writes: "Brothers, if someone is caught in a sin, you who are spiritual should restore him gently. But watch yourself**,** or you also may be tempted.

So we are to pray for those in sin, be gentle, demonstrate love toward the sinner by loving them but not their sin. However, we are admonish to not associate with anyone who calls himself a Christian and willfully and disobediently continues in their sin. We are also admonish in Scripture not to associate or affiliate with those of the world especially those who are in sin forwe are not of this world, as Peter writes but aliens and strangers in this world. To affiliate with any organization and event that endorses or promotes a lifestyle of sinful behavior and which is diametrically oppose to the dogma and teaching of the Magesiterium of the Church, is my opinion, is putting their souls in grave danger.

We are taught by the Church to even avoid the occasion of sin: “Occasions of Sin are external circumstances–whether of things or person–which either because of their special nature or because of the frailty common to humanity or peculiar to some individual, incite or entice one to sin…Arefusal on the part of a penitent to do so would make it imperative for the confessor to deny absolutionNew Advent

Pray the rosary, confess, receive the sacraments and meditate on the scripture to renew your mind to be free from any enslavement with sin.

Great Scriptures. Scriptures that have been forgotten.

the sinners must be warned with gentleness. but in that Parish there is no warn; there is acceptance and encouragement to continue to do what they are doing. it is all about love. i think they lost the meaning of what love is. they think that to love one another is to accept everything including sins.

To disobey the Word and Laws of God is a great offense. they dont seem to have this understanding. they are pretty much into this verse of the Bible. “love one another.”

they have forgotten the first Commandement.

Ecoclimber - Thank you for all the beautiful scripture quotes. They are very helpful and enlightening. One thing the gay agenda wants to know is where God condemns homosexuality in the Bible. I think you took care of that very well.

To be sure, we are not in a hateful campaign against gays. They are in a hateful campaign against the Roman Catholic Church. We are here to defend Her and to encourage others to do the same.

Why would they stay in the Church and pervert Her teachings unless they wish to bend and twist it to their way of thinking? Worse yet, do they think they can dismantle it and then build it in their own image and likeness? Why should we stand by and let this go unchallenged? Dolan and Egan ought to state their beliefs unequivocally, not be pandering to and encouraging an openly gay and active lifestyle.

By their actions, they are neither faithful to God nor to His Church. If they are not busy robbing our goods, they are robbing our Faith. Seems to me they don’t believe in the Ten Commandments. Why do they seek to undermine and subvert? Just how far are they willing to descend? Just how much are we willing to take?

If everyone finally takes a stand, more souls won’t have to take the fall!

It is very disturbing to see our clergy loving themselves so much that they are willing to scandalize the very Church they are in, for moments of popularity and praises for themselves.

i wonder where is the other bishops who are faithfull to the Church, why are not they saying something about this? why do they sit idol while some clergy dishoners the Church? whatever happened to the loyalty to God. why are they so afraid to speak up?

wisdomseeker - Tried to look at the youtube video. It was removed. What was on it?

Before people crucify Archbishop Dolan and say “he’s out for popularity”, it’s possible that the Bishop’s hands are tied due to the Church being run/planted by the Jesuits. The Bishop does not have the authority to punish the Jesuits due to their unique role as consecrated religious.

We have such a Liberal parish in my city, which is being run by the Oblates. Although we have had several orthodox Bishops, they could not engage in disciplinary action because the proper hierarchy is;

Priest within an Order < Superior of an Order < Rome.

(otherwise it’s; Diocesan Priest < Bishop < Cardinal < Rome).

The Bishop is not involved in the chain at all for specific Orders. For all we know it’s possible that Archbishop Dolan has reported these to Rome and it is being dealt with, and due to being unable to comment he cannot defend himself.

You can read some pretty fascinating stuff from Brother JR at these links;

He goes into detail about Church hierarchy involving Orders and whatnot. But basically there’s a reason why Bishops these days are VERY hesitant to allow Orders to set foot within their boundaries, as they have no jurisdiction over them despite them being within the diocese.

This is but one example. The Jesuit parish is making His Grace look poorly, yet he’s not responsible and cannot take corrective actions. That’s up to the Superior of the Jesuits.

So, because he does not have authority to correct them, he goes there joins them and praise what they are doing? i see.
that is why we are being mocked by the world and are being punished by the world. the excuse that there is no authority. well, the world have authority, lets see how the world is going to handle the affairs of the Church.

here is what is going happen.

There IS an authority. I gave you an example of it in my post; the Superior of the Jesuits for that area is the next step up the “food chain”, and he should be the one contacted about this. Not the Bishop, not the Internet. You’d think that “traditionalists” would have a better appreciation for the hierarchy of the Church and how it works, because it’s in place for a reason.

To have an issue with the hierarchy and how the tangibles of it works is to have an issue at the very least with the Magisteruim of the Church, since hierarchy has been in place since the New Testament.

EDIT: I want to point out by no means do I condone the actions of the parish or the people within (they are the dumb). I’m simply saying in the case of AB Dolan things may not be as cut and dry as they appear to be.
