You might not. I know several who did. I don’t have any ‘horse in the race’ myself, and I don’t buy into labeling things, but I do know people in my own family who stated that the MAJOR reason for voting for a particular candidate related to race and/or sex. Is it something I would do myself? No. Is it something that any given individual COULD do? Sure it is.

The GOP stalwarts would better serve their interests if the would worry about the more immediate issue of whether the electorate will vote for Trump rather than any unnamed female.

Elizabeth Warren is unlikeable and so is Hillary Clinton.
On the other hand, Amy Klobochar and Tulsi Gabbard are quality candidates, but were rejected by Democrat voters. Not sure this can be chalked up to sexism, but who knows?
Since I will never vote for a pro-abortion candidate, none will get my vote.

Barring some unexpected events, if no one mentioned Nikki Haley, I’d think she would be a candidate in 2024. She appears qualified if not highly qualified.

And like other posts here, I will vote on the issues, on qualifications and so on.

Carli Fiorini was fine though, a lot of people look at that company she was with, HP or that other one and it had trouble. It had problems under other company presidents too though.

Some people say Bernie and Liz basically took from the same pool of voters, progressives. What if even Bernie is not actually getting as many votes this time? I have heard that said.

Asked by reporters about the role gender played, Warren said “gender in this race. You know that is the trap question for everyone.”

Warren remarked that “if you say ‘yeah, there was sexism in this race,’ everyone says ‘whiner.’ And if you say ‘no, there was no sexism,’ about a bazillion women think, 'what planet do you live on?’ I promise you this, I’ll have a lot more to say on that subject” later on.

She and Hillary should go on a speaking tour together and give their talks on sexism anf mysogyny.

Of course it is specific. How many people will not vote for a woman because she is a woman? That’s the issue when it comes to elections.

Let’s remember that this is 4 years after Hillary Clinton was nominated. She’s a woman.

We heard this same nonsense about racism when Harris and Booker dropped out, even though an American black has been elected president TWICE!
