Was John McCain Pro-life or Pro-choice?

No. She was divorced when she married McCain—the Church would not have recognized that marriage as valid.

Donald J. Trump definitely did make the remark you cited.

But he did it in defense of his supporters, who Mr. McCain referred to as “Crazies”.

Its tough to consider someone a particularly great man, if he’s calling you insane.

McCain was pro-life, at least publicly. He was a very bitter person in life and did die angry, it seems, which is too bad. Although I think his move of disinviting Trump backfired and was actually a good thing for Trump rather than himself. You see, the left has such rabid hatred for DJT that had he gone to the funeral, they would have had a field day calling him a hypocrite for honoring McCain posthumously, and had he not gone, the same field day would have ensued for him not showing up to pay his respects to the hero. Let’s be honest, he would have faced backlash no matter what he did, because he can do no right in their eyes. Being uninvited took the decision off of his hands and the heat off of him. 👍

Unfortunately, there was only room for 3,200 words. It’s hard to list the accomplishments of such a great man in such a small space.

But your few words about him say a great deal about you… 😎

More interesting question while we’re at it, how long has McCain been pro-choice vs how long has Trump been pro-choice?
More interesting is how much has Trump done for the pro-life movement in actual concrete accomplishments, defunding Planned Parenthood International, giving the states the right to defund Planned Parenthood without risk of being sued, nominating pro-lifers to the Court system. I think Trump’s accomplishments are about better than any politician out there save, we could say Governors like Scott Walker have done a lot at the State level.

While we’re at it, all you are talking about are words, I can be the biggest pro-lifer, “life begins at conception” person out there but unless, it is backed up by action, then, that’s all it is, words, as noble as they may be.

Noooo I’m just saying that whatever he thought it would accomplish, that isn’t what happened. I’m sure he wouldn’t have gone anyway. It would have been crazy if he had gone. The whole funeral was sadly a political sideshow. Hopefully McCain himself had nothing to do with that. I have been praying for his soul.

That is ok. I stand by them. My standards are higher than most. Probably because I am a repentant sinner still trying to go with God

How’s that working out?
How is what working out?

The high standard? Works well to keep me focused on Jesus. I doubt I will ever achieve my own standard but it keeps me on my knees

Still trying to go with God? That is a daily struggle.

I for one applaud Senator McCain’s courage to stand up for what he believes in the face of tyranny.

It sounds like you’re holding everyone to your “high standards.” So much so that not even a great man like John McCain can measure up.

Reminds me of certain people Jesus had to deal with. Don’t you agree?

No, John McCain was not perfect, just like the rest of us. But unlike most of us, he served his country honorably both in wartime and peace time. That is quite enough for me.

He was a politician that spent most of his life talking out both sides of his mouth. He didn’t stand for anything but getting re elected

What have you accomplished lately? Just curious. 😎
