Lately? Opened another branch of my business and am currently making double what I was two years ago and donating 5% of my gross to the local parish and helping raise my brothers twin boys while he’s on deployment. You?

It sounds like you understand and value sacrifice and hard work. So, your harsh assessment of a great and accomplished man like John McCain is rather confusing.

His military service was commendable. It’s a pity he spent the last years of his life as an obstructionist to getting this country on the right track.

It sounds like you’re holding everyone to your “high standards.” So much so that not even a great man like John McCain can measure up.
we are obviously looking at different aspects of john mccain’s life.

he turned his back on his conservative principles due to his hatred of trump or he was disingenuous for 8 years. neither is an act of an honorable man
Reminds me of certain people Jesus had to deal with. Don’t you agree?
yes it does, but i bet we have different people in mind.

I for one applaud Senator McCain’s courage to stand up for what he believes in the face of tyranny.
he ran on one thing and did another, he didn’t stand up for the people who voted for him
Far from being a modern-day “profile in courage,” McCain’s vote against advancing Obamacare reform represents a complete reversal of the position he won his Senate election with last year. John Merline of Investor’s Business Daily notes that “In the private sector, promising one thing and delivering the other could be referred to as ‘deceptive trade practice.’ For some members of Congress, it’s just another day at the office.” john fund NR

I think there’s been a misunderstanding. By providing a brief list of John McCain’s brilliant career, I in no way intended to become your sole source of information on the great life of John McCain. If you wish to learn more about his many accomplishments, many websites, books and other publications are devoted to the study of this American Icon.

No doubt, your assessment is based on the presupposition that YOU know what the right track is. Why don’t you enlighten us and tell us what that is?

I for one was very thankful he did not vote against Obamacare. And anyone who stands up to Trump is a winner in my book.

Well he campaigned on repealing Obamacare for years, and then when the time came to actually repeal it so small business could quit being strangled by regulation, he chose to vote against repealing it. Like a mealy mouthed politician who says one thing and does another.

i am familiar with him, that is why i believe what i do.

give it a few weeks and the media will demonize him for his failings. we will see

This is confusing—he certainly spent at least the last couple of years, even while ill, trying to get the country back on the right track.

Mine? Not exactly. It limited the amount of employees I could hire. This was the case for many businesses, and was one of the biggest criticisms of the law and what led to so much work being cut to part time in certain industries. It only hurt people looking for work.

My dislike of him lies in his deceit. If he’d said Obamacare was a good law and should remain on the books I’d have nothing bad to say about him voting against its repeal. However, campaigning on how bad it is, and then not voting to repeal it is exactly what people hate about politicians and why trump got elected. You may hate his policies, but he does what he says he’ll do.

i have had nothing but bad experiences with it, i hope it works for you and that you can afford it as the prices continue to rise.

trump has been good for the christian community especially with his supreme court picks

Is hoping the media will “demonize” John McCain part of those “high standards” of yours you mentioned?

Don’t you think that’s more than just a little uncharitable?

That pretty much cemented my opinion of
John McCain.
It was further cemented when Sarah Palin and her husband were not invited to either memorial service in Arizona or Washington.

How did he do that?
