Was Muhammad a Prophet of the Judeo-Christian God ?

I think what the shahada addresses is how public revelation in Islam ended with Mohammed; much like how in Christianity it is considered that public revelation ended when the last Apostle (who most scholars think is John) died. If that is the case, it would suggest that for adherents of Islam, whatever anyone after Mohammed may claim is pointless. 🤷
This man made interpretation of Scripture that “public revelation is now ended” is what tests each and every soul during Judgement Day.

Let us all pray that we have not failed in God’s examination of our sincerity and purity of heart.

Referring to Muhammad here, did any of those listed above change the course of history by bringing 1.6 billion potential pagans and polytheists towards a reverential monotheism?

Any of them above do anything like that?

Even Mirza Husayn Ali (Baha’u’llah) (6th on your list above) didn’t do that and I am a Baha’i !!

.
Oh sure, he brought people into believing in one God - with the sword as one of his primary means no less.

When the shahada was revealed Muhammad IS the Messenger of God.

The Baha’i Faith recognises fully that Muhammad is a Messenger of God.

This unites us with Muslims, even if my relatives in Iran are currently being persecuted by “so called” Muslims…

.
Some unity. I’ll opt out, thanks.

No. He dismisses Jesus Christ as an ordinary prophet, with himself as the final prophet. So I would say he is most likely Satan’s prophet.
Look how muhammad glorified himself. Not a sign of being a prophet

The religion still grows today perfectly well in Western countries. No sword in sight.

The thing is very logical. OK, look – all four of these faiths, Judaism, Christianity, Islam and the Bahá’í faith believe in the One, True God of Abraham. OK, good, up to there we’re all in agreement. But then the differences start – Jews don’t accept that the Messiah came in the form of Christ, Christians do; Christians accept the Trinity which Islam explicitly denies in its holy book; Christianity claims Christ died on the cross, Muslims claims he didn’t. And then Báb and Bahá’u’lláh come along and try to make all of these religions compatible?

Do you see why that seems odd to an outsider?

Bahais will always show love towards all.

The fact that the teachings of Islam today are unrecognisable to Muhammad is irrelevant to our love for Muhammad Himself.

Forgive them Lord, for they know not what they do.
It’s hard to be a Muslim today. The purity of Muhammad’s teachings has been destroyed by the clergy.

.

I don’t care what anyone thinks Micosil.

Look at the deeds…

Where are the Muslims to defend Muhammad?

Every single Islamic thread defaming Muhammad here at CAF is dominated by Bahais striving day in day out to remove misunderstanding about Prophet Muhammad.

And we won’t stop. Never ever ever.

And we do it for Jesus too.
For Jesus too? Servant, I’ve seen misinformation by the bahai about Jesus. The bahai views on Jesus is against the New Testament and Christianity

So thus the 1.6billion monotheist peace-loving converts from paganism argument is destroyed. How many real pure-Muhammad-following Muslims are there?

Christians are also called to love everyone, regardless of faith. 🤷

That doesn’t mean however that no other faith system exists in the world, and that we need to dialogue and talk to people.

I’ve lived in southern Spain all my life. Some of my closest friends are Sunni Muslims from Morocco. 🤷 Most of the others are fallen away Catholics who are either lukewarm believers or even explicitly identify as atheist. That doesn’t mean I don’t love them, even if I disagree with their worldview or theology. 🤷

Indeed I do.

The point is Micosil, what does any of the above have to do with how we live together in concord, love and harmony?

It is only when we INSIST on these differences that disharmonies arise.

Why don’t we all pray to the one God, using our own different ways, under one roof, appreciate the spirit present within all our hearts while we pray, then be joyful together, break bread together, respect each other’s dietary habits (no ones gonna die if we eat kosher or halal food) then assess what are some of the charitable needs in our communities and look at ways in which we can eliminate the problems sustainably, all together.

Let us educate our children on these capacities for community building.

Is that really so hard to do?

Would Christ frown on this plan?
Would Muhammad frown on this plan?
Why do we frown on this plan?

For Jesus too? Servant, I’ve seen misinformation by the bahai about Jesus. The bahai views on Jesus is against the New Testament and Christianity
Just as Muhammad’s construct of Allah took elements recognizable to Christians and Jews and were further remade in his image, so Bahai take elements of Jesus and remake Him into their own image. Neither are the fullness of Truth, the original teaching, nor authentic to the actual followers.

It’s as American as Liberian democracy or democratic as Iranian elections. The facade and terminology are used and invoked, but the result is unrecognizable.

You have to defend it, because Bahaism is tied into Islam.

Show me one New Testament verse which is not contradicted by the New Testament itself but is contradicted by the Baha’i Faith, please.

Actually, scrap that, it’s off topic.
Bring it up in the other thread maybe?

I’m sure you have plenty of peace-loving Muslims with pagan ancestors living on your doorstep.

Let’s not get into the argument over which religion has the most hate-filled adherents throughout history, Syro.
It can turn ugly…

Your fair-mindedness is being monitored by God. You answer to Him for your judgements on others 🙂

Wouldn’t that be an indication it being a false religion and a false prophet?
