There are just so many things wrong with this thesis.
Adam could have avoided sin, but he freely chose to eat the apple. To think he sinned because he had no choice means God caused Adam’s downfall. That’s heretical. All of are sins our because of our own free choice*.
Also, One can go without sinning. Jesus did it. To imply that Jesus had no choice in avoid sinning is to imply that He wasn’t fully human. Mary went an entire lifetime without sinning. The New Adam and the New Eve were complete in ways that the first Adam and Eve could have been, had they persevered.
You and I can avoid sin. Permanently, yeah, but highly HIGHLY unlikely. But we can get to the point, and we must always continue to strive, where we can remain sinless over a period of time. For a day? If so, why not a week. If a week, why not a month? Why months, how about years? You get my point?
I would like to add:
Mat 5:20 For I say to you, If your righteousness shall not exceed that of the scribes and Pharisees, you shall not enter into the kingdom of God, never!
Mat 6:33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
Mat 7:21 Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter into the kingdom of Heaven, but the ones who do the will of My Father in Heaven.
Mat 13:41 The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all the offenses, and those who practice lawlessness
Mat 13:43 Then the righteous will shine out like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. The one having ears to hear, let him hear.
Mat 18:3 And He said, Truly I say to you, Unless you convert and become as the little children, not at all can you enter into the kingdom of Heaven.
Mat 18:3 And He said, Truly I say to you, Unless you convert and become as the little children, not at all can you enter into the kingdom of Heaven.
Mat 23:13 But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut up the kingdom of Heaven before men; for you do not enter, nor do you allow those entering to go in.
Mat 5:48 Therefore, you be perfect even as your Father in Heaven is perfect.
Mat 19:21 Jesus said to him, If you desire to be perfect, go sell your property and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in Heaven; and come, follow Me.
Mat 19:21 Jesus said to him, If you desire to be perfect, go sell your property and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in Heaven; and come, follow Me.
2Co 13:11 For the rest, brothers, rejoice! Perfect yourselves; encourage yourselves, mind the same thing, be at peace; and the God of love and of peace will be with you.
Gal 3:1 O foolish Galatians, who bewitched you not to obey the truth, to whom before your eyes Jesus Christ was written before among you crucified?
Php 3:15 Then as many as are perfect, let us be of this mind; and if you think anything differently, God will also reveal this to you.
Heb 2:10 For it was fitting for Him, because of whom are all things, and through whom are all things, having brought many sons to glory, to perfect Him as the Author of their salvation through sufferings.
Mat 11:15 The one having ears to hear, let him hear.
