I made the mistake of clicking on the link you posted to the wig ad. Now I’m getting them!

I even got two at a time. I didn’t even know that ads on CAF could do that.
Perhaps a wig ad comes with an extension automatically to emphasize the ‘hair extension’ nature of the product.

Subliminal. Volume boosting! You’ll have more than ever before!

I’m 6’ tall, and 200lbs, shaved head, and would not look good in a dress.
but probably better than my 6’2", a bit heavier, and bearded . . . and I suspect that I’d look far better in the dress than cheeky women’s lacy undies . . .
😱 😱 😱

Oh, I’m sure it’s REAL cashmere! Not!

Well, unless they really are making up for it in the shipping!

Anytime you click on an ad, intentional or not, the algorithm will now assure you get more of the same types.

I ordered my new stove to pick up at Lowe’s. For months after was bombarded with stove ads because the algorithm is too stupid to realize I don’t need a stove if I just bought one…all it knows is that I looked at stoves!

Want to help make sure you get innocent ads? Click on innocent ads. It works pretty well for about a month! And this is what ad companies purchase to support sites…algorithms that really don’t work. I have no objection to getting ads I’m interested in…when that happens, I’ll let you know! 🤣

When in the world did I click on ladies clothing to start this? I did a search once for “cross-body phone carrier”.
@dochawk
I think Id do better with the undies. Why hide the athletic build with the dress right?

Does anyone else use your computer/device? Plus, sometimes it’s just a matter of certain ads being promoted and ignoring any algorithmic information…they’re just hoping to get lucky! 🤣

Nope, just me on the ipad pro.
Now, Brilliant earth diamond rings, support us, and…more woman’s clothing.

Then it’s probably point number two…hoping to get lucky with a promoted ad from the company in the ad. They’ll sometimes do this with ads that have generated a lot of clicks in the past. They don’t care that you’re male or female, young or old.

Some of the ads I get just make me laugh. They aren’t objectionable, just not something I’m the least bit interested in!

I’m kinda leaning toward the disheveled blonde look, like this one:

Only, me being a guy, I’ll probably look more like Rod Stewart than Meg Ryan.

Hawaiian shirts!!! Seriously, that’s something I am interested in, to the point of inordinate attachment. If the shipping is not too much, I might go for that.

Well, it’s buy five get one free! If you can find six you like…😇

And free shipping on orders $100 or more!

But I don’t need and can’t afford so many. Plus after 3 hours, my passion has cooled and I think I’ll shop around and maybe find a better deal for one shirt.

But you clicked, right? Expect to see this one about a hundred more times! Plus, you may now be bombarded with other Hawaiian shirts from several other companies…that may actually be the same company with different names…oh, the joy of the interwebz! 😂😂😂

I’m trying this out, clicking on a few ads that I don’t mind seeing, so I see less of the ones I don’t want to see.

So Hawaiian shirts, webinar software, and farm tractor navigation it is!

Certainly nothing useful, what the marketers are seeking is impulse, people who buy because of a trigger that made you think you need it.

Most people will seek items when they are needed & generally resist when they seek you.

I just got an ad for an engineering degree at Anglia Ruskin University.
