Yes I did. But not for people to try and scare me into converting. It’s not going to work on me. Even though so many Catholics (or people in general) don’t seem to like Jehovah’s Witnesses (especially when they come door to door), they seem to have the same basic mentality.

OK - things are becoming clear in my life…I actually ate popcorn while watching the Passion. In between sobs, I was able to choke down more handfuls ( actually lots of handfuls of popcorn - then I turned to candy after that). Help me. I have a problem!

Dont feel bad ,I got choked up quite a few times. I did buy popcorn but I couldnt eat it so I tried bringing it back for a refund. 😃

Actually, after that movie - the Holy Spirit guided me swiftly toward my treadmill. Possibly that was my penance for thinking about food and indulging in the pleasure of food during such a movie.

No, I was eating a hamburger. I was watching it at home since it came with a bunch of movies someone gave my boyfriend pretty cheap. I rarely get emotional at movies unless it is ‘that time’.
 
Man, I cried my eyes out during that movie…maybe not because it was Jesus (i know, i know) but more because of Mary, and how she was always with him, through the whole thing, but didn’t protest…i was an emotional train wreck during that movie.

I swear it does…with the mood swings some of them get… People’s moods seem to change with the moon phases. That’s why all the crazies are out on the full moon. 😃 😉

I felt bad for Mary and Jesus- just as I would feel bad for any other person put through that. Some movies make me think “oh that’s sad” or “that’s too bad”, but that’s it.

off the top of my head…no. I meant more if any other person had been through the same I would have felt bad as well. But there have been countless people tortured, etc. for various reasons.
