Family Circus always gets it right.

Dilbert is so much like the place I work at.

Calvin & Hobbes

by FAR the greatest comic strip ever. Garfield had a great era. Peanuts was solid. B.C. is my current fave. I do miss Far Side and I currently also like Dilbert and Shermans Lagoon.

Any User Friendly geeks out here?

What a happy thread! 👍

Before I list my favorites, can someone tell me what is the deal with Spongebob Squarepants? He’s so creepy looking I haven’t been able to tune into see what the attraction is. A friend of mine says the same thing about The Simpsons, however, so I may have to give Spongebob a whirl.

My favorites, in no particular order, are:

Comics:
For Better or For Worse – I bawled like a baby when their family dog died
Rhymes with Orange - especially the ones with dogs and cats!
Herman

Of Days Gone By:
Calvin and Hobbes (oh, how I miss them!)
The Far Side
Bloom County - ACK!, Ththbbthttbt!

Cartoons:
The Simpsons
Bugs Bunny

For you Bloom County fans, if you are not aware, Berke Breathed has been writing “Opus” for the Sunday paper for at least couple of months now. It’s focused almost entirely on everyone’s favorite neurotic penguin. However, Bill made an appearance this past Sunday ! 😃 😃 👍

Calvin & Hobbes all the way!! 👍

I also love anything Looney Toons.

“Family Circle”

Always gives me a smile to the start of my day. 😃

Debbie, I agree Spongebob is a creepy looking thing! One of my best friends is a Spongebob fan, so I asked her what the attraction is. She says it is on par inellectually with the old Rocky and Bullwinkle cartoons-- simple enough for a kid to get a laugh, but also very intelligently written. Personally, I don’t watch it unless I am visiting my little nieces, and even then don’t really pay attention to the show as much as I do to my nieces. So I’ll just have to take my friend’s word for it.

I did, too! Like I said earlier, Lynn Johnston is just fabulous!
Calvin and Hobbes (oh, how I miss them!)
The Far Side
Bloom County - ACK!, Ththbbthttbt!
3 more favorites of mine, also. My roommate and I have most (if not all) of the book collections. And I am so happy to see Opus in the Sunday comics again!!

Have a great day,
Judy

WHAT??? No “Get Fuzzy”-ites here???

Man! You gotta go to comics.com/comics/getfuzzy/index.html and get to know Bucky, Satchel, and Rob. The better you know them, the more you’ll laugh – out loud.

Go! Go NOW!!!
